Less sexy and less funny than the first, with a lot of more boring stuff. But still enjoyable.

I read this for our podcast Teenage Scream, which dissects the best (and worst) of 90s Teen Horror.

This was an interesting twist on typical vampire stories and a nice distraction.

In this book we see alot of obssession going on between two best friends that after become enemies. Betreyal is one of the most important things as two girls fight over a guy who only loves one. Afterwards one of the girls unites with the enemy to bring down both her grilfriend and the guy she loves. What would she decide. You'll have to read it to find out.

I remembered loving this as a kid, but I think I must have just gotten excited by the premise and let me imagination run away with me. This book is sadly rather dull. The prose is fine, but the characterisation is still lacking. There's very little chemistry between James and Rina as a result. The more interesting character is Chelsea. A lot of missed potential.

The second (and last) book in this series, it finished telling the story of Rina and her human love interest and their previous love interests who are now seeking revenge.

The ending to this book is a little... unbelievable, especially in the changes made to Rina.

Another quick read :) I enjoyed it thoroughly, however I did feel as the story was rushed and a bit unbelievable at times... should have been a longer book!
