I think this is perhaps the best book in this series so far. With Jared's situation become more and more complicated and with his family as well, more layers and layers of conflict come out. The characters, old and new, do have different personalities which I liked and enjoyed. It's tough to balance an ensemble cast of characters especially with different potential backstories and internal motivations. But I liked that the author is adding more to his characters. I can't wait for the next book and to see how this world opens up more and more! 4.5/5 stars.

Brilliant
I enjoyed this installment a great deal. In the meantime, I'm going to read the second series. Izzy is my favorite female character, because she has maintained an independent streak instead of falling all over herself to be with the MC like so many characters in this genre. The author has done a good job of creating individual personalities for all of the cast. I usually hate vampire storylines, but I love Nikki too. Well done BNM.

Very enjoyable book.
The story is very interesting and I truly enjoy the unique take on the different powers that the characters are using. The pacing is very good and the plot twists are well done. The world building is very interesting as well.

B.N. has a fantastic imagination. This series is excellent. Plenty of action and a great storyline. The characters are easy to like and the enemies are easy to hate. I breezed through this book in one day. Couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Very Enjoyable Read!!!

Well Jared's group of family has grown he sure has gotten to some interesting cases but the fight still goes on look forward to seeing the next book

Was ok
Plans revealed. Lots of fights. MC really weak. Loses all fights but one inches book. Has to be bailed out repeatedly. Sets up final book nicely.
