Okay, it wasn't hell... Exactly. But with Elowen trapped in the spirit world, it's up to me and my men to bring her back. Sounds simple enough, but when you're balancing the second term of sophomore year, four boyfriends, and a whole heap of unpredictable magic, it gets complicated.
Not to mention the threatening notes I've been receiving, the awkward new mentor I've gained this semester, and the fact that Bella Goodwin is royally pissed about her current situation.

A fab finale to a fantastic series. Jade (FMC) and her guys - Darius, Thorn, Rocco and Ryker have their work cut out for them with Lilith as well as trying to find Elowin. Asher was a much needed source of humour. I loved that there were crossover characters from the Feline Royals series - Itzel Ocelet and her mates in this book. This last book had everything in it and a great ending too. I enjoyed reading this series so much

Disappointed
Before this book, I was intrigued with the idea of high priestess and creation magic. Wanting to see the continuing saga of Jade and her men. But boy was this a huge disappointment. It was rushed and had so many gaps in time. It was like the author really had no plot outline for the serious and took a bunch of post notes with s snippet of an idea and threw it together with filler of scenery talk and said the end. If I could have given this a half a star I would have.

A disappointing ending. 2.5 stars
The first 3 books of this series were released within several months of each other while the final book was almost exactly one year after book 3 (like within a few days). My hope was that it was because the final installment of Jade's story was going to be so epic that the author needed the extra time to get it perfect. What we are left with was a book that almost seemed to be an afterthought.
Book 4 focuses on wrapping up most of the loose ends in Jade's life. Bella is placed on trial and
The tension between Jade and Ryker finally gets resolved.
We also see Jade meeting the queen who is the other High Priestess.
The final showdown with Lilith happens in this book as well.
There was a lot of jumping around and time skips in this book. Things like "for the next several weeks we settled in" without any content about what happens during those weeks. Jade's friendships fall into the background and we are focused on rushing through her various problems and getting semi-resolutions to them.

This series as a whole I would probably rate 3.5-4 stars because I enjoyed books 1-3 much more than book 4.

They go to hell, the relationship moments we have been waiting for finally happen and still it's just mediocre. I think the typos really got me. I like the characters and the premise, as always, but this series never really evolved into it's whole potential (though I was obviously moderately entertained, I read all 4 books...). There were some good moments in this one.

Eh, expected more
The first book wasn’t very good and I was hoping somewhere the story mature and produce a real plot besides ‘I am special, I have epic magic and everyone is jealous and wants it’. It did not, purely a RH with smut and anything interesting occurs in the 40 ish pages, is rush, undeveloped and unexplained. 4 books and I still can’t tell you anything about the world or how the magics work 🙄

I'm glad to be finished with this series. I really loved the first book but the series as a whole was a let down.
I wanted more of the high priestess, I wanted to see Jade experiment with her powers, to learn more about them. Lilith was a disappointment too. Why would she want to walk the Earth and have magic when she literally did this in the first book?! I'm so confused.
The Bellas were such a joke. Blonde Bella got it really easy, I expected to see more of her but she disappears too early in the book. Same with Silas. What was the point of him?
I quite liked Darius (even if the teacher/student relationship is not something I like) but when he says that's he's basically living his life for Jade, it seemed creepy.
Do I think this 4th book was necessary? No.
The author wrote so many time jumps we barely see the characters spending time at the academy. Jade has still 2 years at school and I don't understand why everybody was happy to leave? Didn't they get the memo they had 2 more years?

A Spicy & Satisfying Ending
This final book brought this magical and spicy series to a satisfying end. Its fast paced action nicely tied off loose threads left from the previous books, while also keeping enough open-ended to hint at endless possibilities for the future of its characters. It took readers on a high stakes journey leading to its suspenseful climax, and eventual happy ending. This book is the shortest in the series, so though it does jump around a bit and gloss over some important parts of the plot, it does have a certain charm in the way it focuses right on the point without too much filler.
While the previous books in this series had a handful of errors in each that were easy enough to look past, unfortunately this book had a distracting amount of typos. It definitely needed another round of editing to catch everything, but besides that, the story itself was entertaining and a good way to spend a couple of hours reading.
All in all, this spicy series kept me fully entertained throughout all four books. Its character-driven plot gave readers plenty of angst, drama, and suspense to go along with its romance; keeping the balance between the lighthearted humour and the more serious aspects of the plot. I enjoyed reading this series and recommend it to anyone looking for a character focused, urban fantasy series with a heavy dose of spice and drama.

This felt very rushed; the mc was juvenile having had no character growth, there was no tension so I didn't get into the plot at all, even the parts that could have been great were really underwhelming. The spice was almost good, but again rushed, before we're even told they've undressed they're fucking her, and then she cums passing out into the blackness, the same every time.
Another issue I've had with this series, hoping the writing style would get better as it went but unfortunately not; it's telling us a lot when it could be showing it. Sometimes repeating the same things over and over again in the dialogue, rather than showing it through character actions.
Other times, MCs inner monologue says the opposite of what their actions show, example - I can't forgive him (for sleeping with a girl who was mean to me when he couldn't have me), he loves me let's fuck, don't know if I can forgive him, acts completely normal around him, can I even forgive him, he almost died for me I have to forgive him - never speaks to him about this 'revelation'.
The saving grace is the other characters, the boys especially thorn, the best friends. This series had a lot of potential and started pretty strong, but it just lacked development of writing style, plot depth and character arcs for me.

I really enjoyed this story! It was a great conclusion to the series. I highly recommend reading the previous books prior to this one first as they are very interconnected and pick up where the others leave off (with not much time between) and the events that happened playing a large part in the story moving forward. I loved getting to see Jade are good terms with her men and moving all of those relationships forward, together and separately. We get to see her work problems out with her guys and see them form a cohesive group to deal with what Lilith is throwing at them next. This story had plenty of intrigue and action and held my attention from beginning to end. There were a few twists thrown in as well and I really enjoyed this story. I also loved the little tidbit thrown in for fans that have read the Feline Royals series as well. This book was entertaining and I can't wait to see what Alexa B. James does next.
I listened to the audio book and really enjoyed the narrator. She did a fantastic job with all of the different characters voices and showing emotion as well.

Holy hotness with a side of HEA! This is book 4 in James' Academy of Sorcery series and I feel like this is the last in the series while even hoping that it's not. I adore these characters and how thru the series of books they have clashed and combined into what they are in and continued to develop in this book. Definitely should read / listen to this series in order to get the most from these characters and storyline. This book picks up right where is should with more drama and adventure for Jade and her men and friends. Everything you could want in an incredibly sexy paranormal romance!

Interesting world
This was a very good series. The world built was different and developed enough to understand the story. The characters were not deep, but deep enough to get to know them. Tropes include Academy, pnr, rh, magic, mean girls, enemy to lover, gay best friend, good v evil.

for the first few books you have a so called sex goddess who never has sex? None of the books are a consistent length - some short, some longer. The final book has numerous editorial issues leaving me to think it was rushed out. However, it's a lot better than many series these days that the authors never bother to finish.

Such a satisfying ending to this series!
This book was passionate & steamy, filled with understanding, forgiveness, jealousy, love, and loyalty!
The final battle was not what I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised!
I love how the storyline’s from different series collided in this book too!
I would have loved a little epilogue of how she comes into her magic and where their relationship and family developed though.

This is the final book in the Academy of Sorcery series and it picks up where book three left off. I definitely recommend you read the first three books in the series otherwise you will be lost. Although I felt this book was a bit rushed overall it was a good ending for the series. This story is packed with action, danger, magic, unexpected twists, steam, and interesting characters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this last book, although I felt it was a bit short and ended quickly. There's lots of steam, action and drama. I liked that we got to see the harmony of all the characters together and going through everything fight as a team. I devoured it and although I'm sad to see it go, it was a good ending and a fun read! Would have loved an epilogue at the end but satisfied with how it ended.

Alright ending
I'm not as impressed with this one unfortunately. All I can say again is anticlimactic, the same as before. But maybe that's how they should be? Maybe its just not my cup of tea but great for someone else. The series was enjoyable and pretty hot at times but it just didn't hit for me fully. I couldn't fully get into the relationship they had and the events didn't make sense to me. Regardless it was still a pretty decent series.

Term 4, Secret Power (Academy of Sorcery #4) was another good read by Alexa B. James. Elowen is trapped in the spirit world. It's up to Jade and her men to bring her back. But like normal her life is extremely unpredictable and complicated. Jade has been receiving threatening notes as well as Bella Goodwin being pissed at her. Jade is done being messed with by Lilith and will kick whatever ass she needs to. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

This final book was amazing. I love these characters. Jade is a strong female leader, with everything on her plate she still manages to be upbeat. With the help and love of all of her men, she is able finally get her happy ending.

I loved the ending of this series! Even though I truly didn't want it to end!😘 In this book we got to read about Itzel as an adult. For those who haven't heard of her, she has her own series by Alexa B James! It dark, hit, and even a smidge taboo😘 A a must read just like this series!!! You'll love them both!!!!❤❤❤

I enjoyed this final book of the series. Unfortunately, I never got to read the first three books first so a couple questions did come up for me. I suggest you start from the beginning. It still had lots of action, twists, and of course, HEAT. Definitely worth the read.

Good story line, but I felt the ending just didn't work and it could have been more to it. Follow Jade on her life when Lithe decides to bring her to the Shadow World and destroy her. Will her men follow her? Can she send the Belle to prison or what will happen?

Do you believe in magic..
Such an awesome series mixed with some old friends from another book, so much adventure and spicy themes will have you wanting to stand with the freezer door open. Little Gem
This series is an unexpected gem. Jaded is an amazing heroine with some badass guys and friends. The story is intriguing with the right amount humour. I will be surprised if you don`t get hooked from the first book, an luckily all four books are available on Kindle Unlimited.

I like Jade and her guys. Yes, at times Jade seems a little immature but she's also under a lot of pressure being a high priestess and so young. She has a lot to learn and not a lot of time with Lilith after her. There is lots of action , humor , and sexy times in this book. It was a little rushed but I thought it was a good ending to the series and enjoyed it.

Academy of Sorcery 4: Secret Power by Alexa B. James is a fantastic read. This is book number four in this fantastic series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading urban fantasy, fantasy and paranormal romance.

Second chance
Jade is lost with out her BFF. She is bound on getting her out of the underworld. Along with all that she still is waiting to figure out what the high council is going to about Bella and her stunts. Plus now that one of her boyfriends grandparents is stepping up to help train her.

Loved this story
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this Set of books, kept me wondering what next , and the gradual love story. culminating in some very hot scenes definitely had me wanting more.

Okay, this series was really good, but I kind of want more. The ending was okay but then yet a bit disappointing. it could have ended so much better. I want more. I want to know how they all end up and if she does become all powerful like before.
