Great guide book

My son is interested in programming, so I thought this might be a good way for him to learn Java. I was right. The author explains Java well, it benefits and it drawbacks in ways that are straightforward and honest. Then there are sample projects to work on that are really easy to follow step by step. There are also pictures to help guide along the way to make sure all goes well. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
