New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Melody Anne begins a sizzling and heartfelt series about Joseph Anderson’s long-lost nephews.

Hudson Anderson has watched his brothers fall victim to the marriage flu. He wants nothing to do with it. That is until he meets a fiery Daisy Green who shows up on the property he’s just purchased, calling him a thief, and insisting the property isn’t his. He should brush her off, and move on with his life. But instead, he finds himself intrigued, and he wants to get to know her.

The veteran’s center Hudson worked on with his brothers for the past couple of years is finished. And now he’s moving on with the next step of his life — building his dream complex, a huge golf course community. When his uncle Joseph connects him with Bubby Green, he should know it doesn’t come without strings, but the deal is too good to pass.

Daisy Green is a warrior when it comes to causes. She wants to save her town, save her people, and save those things others want to tear down. She’s never imagined she might just want to be saved herself. She’s furious when her grandfather sells her family land to a spoiled, rich man who wants to build something only the elite can enjoy.

Both Hudson and Daisy think they can change the mind of the other. But maybe, instead of changing one another’s minds, they might be able to meet in the middle and start building something beautiful together.

This is the fourth book in the Billionaire Anderson Series. Come and enjoy the family dynamic of the Andersons with characters you’ll fall in love with, and a romance we all strive to achieve.

I am surprise to find out that I do like Hudson. Miss Anne is romance writer who can write small town romance story. Hudson is more like feel good romance. Min angst/ drama. A whole lot of small town vibe.

I especially like the conversation between Hudson and Daisy. What started as ONS blooms to be so much more. Their discussion of social status, raising up children, family and small town culture are packed into a heart warming banter. There is a bit humor on it too. The chemistry between Hudson and Daisy is perfect. Not OTT and not cold either.

Overall this is a wonderful read.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the fourth book in this series - and links to others. I would recommend that you read them in order, as they are really good, but you could always go back if you need to - in good news Joseph has Katherine home, and although he is busy fussing over her, he still has time to interfere in Hudson's life too!

Hudson calls his three brothers' romances 'marriage 'flu' which made me laugh ... and them, because it will come as no surprise that he is now in Joseph's matchmaking sights. What is fun though, is that actually he and Daisy meet on a plane months before everything at home comes together.

If you are a regular reader, you will know the background to the brothers' upbringing and their reasonable concern about all matters of the heart, and their fear of turning out like their father. Hudson is a self-made man, and he loves his family before all others, but he definitely intends to remain single and unattached. His latest project though pits him against a formidable, if small and beautifully packaged Daisy. We have so much fun watching them learn from each other, and both want to give each other the world by the end.

Completely engaging and heart warming, whilst also chemistry driven and impulsive, this is a lovely read, and brought sunshine into a cold, grey November day. Oh, and we get a hint of Crew's issues and who is going to solve them...

Hudson has plans for the future and they don’t include love or marriage despite how happy his brothers are. He has purchased the perfect piece of land however he hadn’t expected opposition from the owner’s granddaughter or the interference of his matchmaking Uncle.

Daisy is devastated when she learns her grandfather has sold the land and she is not about to sit idly by and do nothing. What she hadn’t expected was her attraction to the infuriating man and now the only question that remains is who will win this battle of the wills or can they both win when it comes to love?

Both Hudson and Daisy are strong characters, their interactions are fun to watch and as a bonus we get to catch up with the characters we know and love.

Hudson is the middle son in the Anderson family, yes, THOSE Andersons! This guy is cocky as all get out, but lets be real, he totally has the walk to back up the talk. When he meets Daisy who is less than impressed with him, they have IMMEDIATE steam and connection and it is so hot!

All in all this book is about connection and family and other than being super steamy, it is just a generally good read. If you are looking for that, definitely check it out! I give it 4 outta 5 stars and recommend you checking it out.

PS: Thank you to Melody Anne and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advance copy of the book to read and review honestly.

4.5 Hud-tastic Stars🌟

Hudson is the next brother to find himself susceptible to the “marriage flu” as his brothers have deemed it to be called😂 Hudson meets Daisy in an airport in Australia and they share a plane ride home with a little bit more😜

About a month after arriving home for the both of them, they meet up again in a most unusual way❣️Hudson has purchased property and is looking to build on it, when the owner’s granddaughter vehemently protests this....and she happens to be the woman Hudson hasn’t forgotten😍

A great story and some secrets are revealed in this one, making it just that little bit extra special....I’m looking forward to Crew’s story next and more about Daisy’s best friend Darla❤️

Loved it!! I love this family so much, and I think Hudson is a brilliant character and he and Daisy are each other’s yin and yang. So many hard hitting issues dealt with that really got me thinking - wealth, property, work ethic and poverty. Beautifully written.

I loved that Damien was introduced and I hope his continues to have a role with his brothers. The teaser for Crew has made me desperate to read his story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. From the moment Hudson and Daisy met they kept me entertained. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I must admit there were times I was literally laughing out loud. Especially during their golfing adventure. I would definitely recommend this book.

4 star review Hudson (Anderson Billionaires #3) by Melody Anne

Thrust into sudden wealth, Hudson and his brothers have finally finished building their veterans centre. Having watched his brothers find love, he is determined that he will not fall, that is until he meets Daisy Green.
Infuriated that her grandfather has sold her family’s land to Hudson for his latest project, Daisy is determined to stand up to him. I really loved how feisty and sassy Daisy is, she is someone I could see as a friend.
Despite himself Hudson is intrigued by Daisy, there is something about her that draws him to her. Hudson Anderson ticks all the boxes for me; he is strong, protective, most definitely an alpha.
Sparks fly between them and I was invested in the push and pull dynamic of their relationship.
Will Hudson and Daisy be able to agree on anything ? Will the attraction that sizzles between them burn brightly or will they crash and burn?

One click and find out.

Hudson is the fourth book in the Anderson Billionaires series by Melody Anne. Each book is a stand-alone, so you can just begin reading this one if you want. So far, I have liked the series, so I would recommend starting from the beginning.

The blurb is good, but I hate it left out the fact that Hudson and Daisy had already met before she showed up on the property Hudson purchased from her grandfather. They actually met at an airport in Australia and due to Hudson's meddling, they spent the entire flight from Australia to San Fransico next to each other. They even slept together, so for a while, I was hoping for a surprise pregnancy to add to the drama. Hudson and Daisy are opposite in so many ways and yet, they clicked so well together.

I binge-read the first three books when Brandon was released and I enjoyed the series, so it was no question whether I was going to read this one or not. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as Noah and Bradon. It's better than Noah though. My problem is that while I loved Daisy and Hudson's story while they were on their way to the USA, there was a point between the trip and the moment they made the deal that made me disconnect from the book. Once, the deal/bet was made, my interest in the story returned and I was able to enjoy the rest of the book.

Both characters are flawed, maybe more than I would like, but they are well built. I didn't particularly agree with either point of view although I was able to see where either of them was coming from and why they felt like they did. There was some character development which was nice to see which was a little rushed in my opinion.

Overall, the book wasn't bad, it was simply less good than I expected and it was still better than half of the books I read this week. There were a lot of surprises and a game-changer. Crew's book is next and just from the tiny snippet from the epilogue of this one I can say that things will be very very interesting. While Hudson is the brother I always forgot about, Crew is the one who stayed in my mind the most.

Daisy got on my last nerve!

Hudson Anderson, is such a sweetheart He met and fell for Daisy Green, in an Airport, on his way home from Australia. He bumped her up to first class so she could sit next to him, because he always buy the seat next to him whenever he flies commercial. Anyway they spent 15 sizzling hours on the flight home to Seattle. But they both had a layover in San Francisco, so they shared a night of hot sex in his hotel room. Then Daisy snuck out of his room in the middle of the night, never to be seen again until a month later when Hudson, brought a piece of land from her grandfather. Unbeknownst to him that was Daisy's grandfather. And that's when the trouble begun with her and she getting on my last nerve. When she saw Hudson again, she knew damn well she was attracted to him because she couldn't stop thinking about him for that entire month since they met. But she decided to be a pain in the ass about the land being sold because she thought that Hudson was going to develop it for the super rich before even talking to him about his dream of what he planned to do. Then she started playing hard to get like some high school kid. Hudson fell for her and she him. But instead of acting upon it like Hudson tried to. She was playing the game I want him no I don't want him. Got on my last nerve. Finally at the end after she thought that she would lose Hudson, after he told her that he was tired of chasing after her, she finally came around. Because by then he was ready to profess his love and propose to her. Then she wasn't against him being super rich anymore, after fighting him every step of the way. I can't wait to read Crew Anderson's story with Daisy's best friend Darla. I sure hope that she's more mature than Daisy. So far she seems like she's much more outgoing and a lot less uptight.

Hudson (Anderson Billionaires #4) by Melody Anne

M/F Romance
Triggers: Spanking positive
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Hudson loves what he does. He plays hard, works hard and loves his family. When he has a chance encounter with an intriguing woman who speaks her mind, Hudson is just looking for a good time. When he wakes up alone, having been left, he is kind of stunned.

Daisy is not where she thought she’d be at this point in her life. She is heading home to be near her grandfather, but really only because she doesn’t have any other prospects. Meeting a hot stranger on her plane is a bonus for her crap filled ending of her current situation.

What neither of them knows is that they are already connected. Joseph is Hudson’s meddlesome family member who wants nothing more than to see everyone paired up and happy.

Daisy and Hudson have to navigate preconceived notions, snap judgments, history and future in order to survive their relationship.

While I can appreciate the story, this fell a little flat for me. Both of them were trying to hard to show the other what could be, that I didn’t really feel that they had a relationship. It was mainly them falling in to bed and talking about their own points of view. I just didn’t really connected with these characters as I have in the previous books.

I can’t wait to see what happens in the next story.

I love the Anderson’s!

On his way back from Australia, Hudson meets a spunky woman at the airport, both waiting for their flight back to the US. After chatting with her, he decides to upgrade her to first class. This of course comes as a surprise to Daisy, since she doesn’t have that kind of money. It turns out she never finds out that it was Hudson that did it. On the flight things get hot after a scorching kiss. At their connecting point in San Francisco, he convinces Daisy to spend the night with him. Daisy figures, she’ll never see him again, plus their chemistry is crazy hot. Problem is when Hudson wakes up, Daisy is gone.

Back in Seattle Hudson is excited about his next project, building a golfing community that will be affordable. Thanks to his uncle Joseph, he met his friend Bubby that wants to sell all his acreage to move to a senior community. His first day on the property and shows up to yell at him, Daisy. Apparently her grandfather sold the property without consulting her. So they make a deal, they each have to prove to the other why the property is so important to them. Hudson is smitten with Daisy and loves the fact he will be spending more time with Daisy.

I love reading about all the Anderson’s and can’t wait for next book, Crew.

Would Hudson pay a cow and three sheep for her?

I love all the Anderson books, but this is book four which means we only have one more left in this series which makes me sad too.
Hudson truly loves a puzzle and a challenge, and Daisy is both. She is nothing like any woman he has met, she keeps him on his toes, fights him every step, melts into him when he finally gets his lips on her but then disappears into the night...repeatedly! How many time will she run from him? She has taken over his mind, but is it the thrill of the chase? Or is it because she is his?
Daisy has been running and fighting for so long she has forgotten what she is fighting for, forgotten what is important. She is sassy, stubborn, independent and totally frustrated that she cannot forget Hudson. But she had judged him and he surprises her again and again with his actions, his words, his history and his life.
How long will it take for them to realise that what they can create together is far better than his plan or hers, if they take a step back and look they can both 'win'
Another cracking book in the series and it seems Crew's book will be just as good, if not a little darker...I cannot wait! I read this and the rest of the series on Kindle Unlimited.

Hudson Anderson has watched three of his brothers fall victim to the marriage flu and has vowed that he wants nothing to do with it. But then he meets a fiery Daisy Green when she shows up on the property he’s just purchased, calling him a thief, and insisting the property isn’t his. He remembers Daisy from their shared night together when they shared a flight and wants more than anything to get to know her more.

Now that he and his brothers have finished the veteran’s center Hudson is ready to move on to his next step in life --building his dream complex, a huge golf course community. His uncle Joseph connects him with his friend Bubby Green who has just the location he has been looking for.

Daisy Green is a warrior of causes to save her town, save her people, and save those things others want to tear down. She is furious when she discovers that her grandfather sells her family land to man who she thinks is spoiled, privileged and who wants build something only the rich can enjoy.

Both Hudson and Daisy are determined to change the mind of each other. They both will learn the lesson of compromise and the benefits that come from it.

Joseph Anderson will be on his usual meddlesome course and will bring the five brothers some surprising news!

The Anderson Family has always been a favorite for me. Melody doesn't disappoint with Hudson for sure. I was drawn into one of my favorite worlds where of course we get to see Joseph. Which is always a pleasure and Hudson's siblings. This is the story of Hudson and Daisy, who meet on their way home from Australia. Hudson from a vacation, while Daisy is returning after not succeeding in saving a historic landmark/building.

Realizing she is not the average girl fawning over him because of his Anderson name. Nor had she recognized him as one of those Anderson's. Hudson wants to know more about her. So he upgrades her seat without her knowledge. The plane ride home is rather interesting for them both. After Daisy disappears in the early morning hours. Except they meet again and Daisy learns he is one of those Anderson's. As well as the shock her own grandfather has set up for her. They have an obstacle to get over. Hudson lives in the present and tomorrow. Daisy is holding on to the past are they both doing it for the right reasons? I love how Melody showed the character growth of both of them. It truly is always an escape to be able to dive into the Anderson world.

The characters were a little annoying

Fourth brother in the family.  He doesn't want to fall into the marriage flu, and he does his best to stay away and to stay away from relationships, but then Daisy comes along and he can't stop thinking about her.  First, he only plans to have a fling, but as time goes by, his mind changes, and he ends up with the terrible marriage flu, just like his brothers. Daisy doesn't want or have time for a relationship, and when she has a one-night stand with Hudson she never expected to see him again.  She has plan, and many, many reasons not to be with him, but when Hudson decides to go after her, she ends up falling for him.
First, I hated Daisy, she is like this free spirit kind of girl who fights for the underdog, but she had no idea of what real life was all about.  She wanted to do a million things, but had no idea how.  At one point it became really hard to hear her ranting, and even if she admitted at points that she had no idea of some of the things she was talking about and was open minding enough to recognize she was wrong, it was really annoying to hear her.  And it was even worse how at he end, they end up together.
Even if it's the same formula and I usually enjoy those books, with this characters, I spent more time being annoyed than enjoying the story.

4.5 Stars for Hudson (Anderson Billionaires #4)
I love my catch ups with the Anderson Clan and this series is about the brothers who have found out they are related to the billionaire Anderson family and in turn had sudden wealth thrust upon them. Hudson and his brothers have been building a veterans centre and it’s finally finished, during the build each brother has found true love except Hudson but that’s about to change when he meets Daisy Green. Daisy is furious that her grandfather has sold their families land to Hudson for his next project and Daisy is prepared to fight tooth and nail to keep what’s theirs.......
I fell hard and fast for Hudson and I loved Daisy and her no nonsense attitude, sparks fly as soon as this couple meet, the attraction is instant but neither are looking for love or a relationship but sometimes love happens when we least expect it. This couple’s chemistry is intense and both are prepared to fight for what they want but what happens when they realise they want each other.....
A great addition to this wonderful series .

Another Anderson falls in love! After a few of his brothers have fallen in love, Hudson is determined to never meet the same fate – until it meets him in an airport. Returning home defeated, Daisy meets Hudson and is instantly attracted to him. Unlike either of them, they end up spending a night together, but when Hudson wakes up the next day he finds Daisy gone. Fast forward a few months and as Daisy is trying to figure out her next move, she finds out her grandfather has sold the land she loves to none other than Hudson. Outraged, she sets her sights on getting him to abandon his forever plans for the land and sell it back to her, but Hudson isn’t budging. The back-and-forth banter between these two is absolutely hilarious! While I felt for Daisy and agree with her mission in life to save as much as she can, I also saw value in what Hudson was looking to do, but their fights about things truly were funny. So happy Hudson fell in love and I can’t wait to see which brother is next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

In the latest installment in Melody Anne's Anderson Billionaire collection, we find Hudson doing everything he can to avoid catching the marriage bug his brothers caught before him. As with the previous brother's books, this is a standalone story.

Melody Anne writes about billionaires who are somehow relatable even to those of us who are, um not billionaires. I've enjoyed the brothers stories and loved how layered the characters are. Daisy, while just as layered, actually irked me a little. While I did enjoy her fiesty, sassy personality, she was condescending and forever jumping to conclusions. While calling Hudson a snob, elitist, etc, she herself was a snob - just from the social justice side- looking down on anyone with money. I appreciated how they both learned to compromise in the end. Their chemistry was great and you could certainly laugh along with them at times, which always makes a story more enjoyable to me!

After that titillating epilogue, I'm very intrigued to read Crew's book!

Opposite Attraction

Hudson Anderson is TDH, charming, ambitious, and determined to get what he wants. When he saw Daisy Green while waiting to fly to SF, he wanted her. Daisy Green is a beautiful blonde do gooder trying to save historic buildings and property. She is passionate about the environment and fighting for the underdog. After they hook-up during a lay in SF, she leaves the next morning, then she encounters Hudson a month later when he buys her grandfather's property to develop a community center. The story about Damian being another Anderson brother was fascinating. Their father really was "scum" who abused his wife. I liked the way Hudson explained how capitalism works and the value of hard work. Also liked when Uncle Joseph explained "love" to Hudson because he was trying to figure out his feelings for Daisy. Glad when Hudson and Daisy realized they loved one another and talked thing out. Emphasis on family was good and how they had each other's back. Melody Anne's writing is always first class.

Hudson has his life planned out. He knows what he wants to do and what to do with it. He knows what it's like to have money and what it is like not to have it. He and his brothers work hard for what they have. Now it's him time to build something that has been in his head for awhile. When a sit down dinner drops bombs they are all about to figure out what the truth is and if things can be salvaged. Hudson is ready to move on and when he's introduced to the one one that makes him give pause, well it's a sight to see. Daisy Green is hardheaded and has a passion like no other. She is trying to save the things she loves and when her grandpa sells the one thing that she loves well she's about to fight tooth and nail for it. However her and Hudson butt heads like no other, but they have a chemistry that sets the pages on fire. Can they work together to have a common ground or end up in bed and destroy it all?

Hudson is book 4 in the Anderson Billionaires series and the first book by Melody Anne that I have read. I really enjoyed her writing style, I liked the characters and the storyline kept me engaged from the beginning to the end.
A chance encounter of two strangers where they find out later that they are more connected than either of them realize leads to a relationship that neither was expecting!
I enjoyed the back and forth banter and the battle of wills that was a continuing theme throughout the story and through it all it allowed Hudson and Daisy to better understand why they believed what they did and it changed their perceptions of one another. They learned that a bit of give and take and little compromise can go along way and the frosting on the cake was that they were drawn towards each other and definitely had the chemistry to back it up!

First of all, THAT COVER is seriously sexy, and now that I got that out of the way, I'll get on with it. Hudson has watched his brothers fall in love & he's not willing to go down that path, but he doesn't count on the sassy woman who is out to mess a deal of his up. Daisy is very upset that her grandfather sold the family land to a man who wants to build something that is elitist to her so she's going to make things very difficult. Hudson is quickly drawn in to her because she honestly doesn't know who he is or even cares at the end of the day. They definitely had some serious chemistry, and the both of them can't get the other out of their head but they're on opposite sides so how in the hell can they meet in the middle?! You know what you have to do to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Past present or future

When Daisy Green was upgraded to first-class from a flight from Australia to San Francisco, she didn't think that she would be sitting beside one of those famous Anderson from Seattle. Spark flew between them knowing that she would never see him again, and spend the most incredible night with a perfect stranger.
Hudson Anderson didn't think a woman could be so interesting, funny. A month passed from that flight home but when he purchased the to build his dream community see how two strangers, challenge each other. One didn't believe in the past only the now and future. Ultimatum giving to confront the past will Hudson lose the woman he had fallen for. Love the Series of Anderson Joseph Anderson always gets want he wants a bigger family. Also twist in this book. It's so good.

The marriage flu is contagious! Hudson is a feel-good romance that will make you smile. Everyone loves match-maker, especially when it comes in the form of Uncle Joseph. Hudson and Daisy butt heads in the best of ways: making you laugh, frustrated and flushed all at the same time! Two people from separate worlds, introducing the each other to views they've never experienced before. I loved this duo! There's plenty of Anderson family love to go around in this one and if you're like me, as soon as you finish the book, you'll immediately look up the release date for Crew's story, which is February 11th, 2021!!!

Another hit in the Anderson Billionaires series! 5 billion stars for this one!
Here we have Hudson's story, he swears he's not catching the marriage flu like his brothers have. He's flying home when he runs into the fighter for all causes Daisy Green at the airport and he's immediately attracted to her.
Daisy is on her way back home to her grandpa, she's not looking for anything but when she meets Hudson, can she keep her heart in check, even when he makes it hard for her to say no to him, because who has ever said no to him!
Grab your hot cocoa, or your favorite warm drink, sit back and enjoy Hudson & Daisy's story!

OK so I had my Anderson fix but really you left me hanging it's not fair I've already pre-ordered the next and last book with these brothers but your killing me. OK let me explain abit about these books the Anderson's 😍😍. Joseph has three son's which he wants them married and of course he want granbabies lol. Then his matchmaking skills are needed with his nephew's and niece. He his happy to do that then he does it again when he find his horrible uncle's kids which he takes it upon himself to love and to look after as his own. And of course his matchmaker skills are needed again lol love these books
