Galvez is unapproachable, grumpy. He’s always a team player, but a loner when not on assignment. His philosophy? Get in, get it done, get out. But the individuals in this particular case aren’t making things easy. Several have gotten under his skin, and the mission is beginning to feel uncomfortably personal. One, brilliant, compelling woman in particular has him rethinking his reclusiveness, propelling him toward making the biggest reveal of his life. Bambu’s existence has been turned upside-down. She's forced to work for her evil brother, caretake her five-year-old sister, and babysit a galaxial menagerie. She’s barely taken all that in stride when the enigmatic Galvez is thrust into her solar system. What’s she to do when he offers her hope and the potential for a strong partnership…strings attached?
Galvez might be unapproachable and grumpy, but even though he is a loner he has always been a team player. But when on mission with the team it starts to feel personal as one woman is getting under his skin and rethinking his reclusive lifestyle and the biggest reveal of his life. Bambu is forced to work for her evil brother in order to take care of her 5-year-old sister. But when Galvez is suddenly in the menagerie of creatures she is forced to look after, he offers her hope and a potential partnership even if it has strings attached. Can she make that choice?
Wow her brother was definitely a very evil and twisted man who needed stopping in any way they could. I was thrilled for Galvez to take a part in a story and to be so central to this one was a delight. I loved the way that their relationship built and how they had to trust each other completely in order to survive. The anatomy details were a little odd and I'm really struggling to get my head around that. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
Once again this author does not let us down with her FPU book. I love the space travel and all the excitement we find while we are there. Of course you can't have space travel without Calamity the ship. Don't tell her I called her that cause it probably wasn't proper.
Every turn of the page finds us in the middle of excitement.. Always love it when the author brings in new and interesting people from other planets. Every page leaves you wondering what is going to happen next.
We wonder will our couple of the book finally get together. The rules they give each other I have to admit are rather funny. How many dates do you go on before you look for the pike?
OK, this is the story of Galvez and Bambu it was absolutely awesome. I loved the twists and turns of each character having something to give while learning to accept their mates differences. This was a feel good story and I loved how it tied in previous relationships and new ones too. Great job LJ Vickery
An attention grabber from start to finish. The characters are hilarious. You also get one mouthy ship with a mind of their own. It starts as a rescue mission in space and ends back on Earth. This ones a page turner with plenty of action. You'll be kept guessing until the very end.
I loved this story. We got to finally learn Martin’s shifter form, meet his amazing mate, her precocious preschooler sister and revisit all the old FPU gang from this series. And Calamity stole the show again. Definitely must read this book.
Another awesome story in the FPU world! These characters are so great! Sweet, protective, funny! Galvez and Bambu are great together. Lots of action and laughter! Hope we hear more about Tek! Of course this story wouldn’t be complete without Calamity and her snark! Love it!
This was a different style of story line for me, but it kept my attention and waiting to see what would happen next. I recommend to those who like a little bit if alien, bad guys, and the true happy ending.
Galvez work for the Federal Paranormal Unit . His new mission with F.P.U. To travel seeking a dangerous group, kidnapping and testing on life forms , to bend their minds. Bambu is the sister of Zeeke the viland of our story Meet Galvez and Bambu fated mates!
I love all the Federal Paranormal Unit books but the series of Gemma-Hygrox is one of my favorite. Galvez and Bambi’s was exciting and funny. I loved the book
This is an intriguing story, filled with elements of drama, deception, murder, and an unexpected romance. Strong characters and ever evolving scenarios!
I love this series! The action keeps you entertained and the romance warms your heart. As the cast of characters increase, all you hope for is more books.
LJ Vickery brings yet another start studded, out of this world entertaining and sizzling read in her Gemma-Hydrox series!
Primal Protector is AWESOME stuff! For some reason, this book reminded me a bit of Guardians of The Galaxy movie. Why I don't know but it definitely made me smile and excited and I found myself thoroughly enjoying the book. Galvez and Bambu are amazing characters and have such a strong chemistry. I could feel the sizzle and slow burn between them from the first moment they are introduced and I loved seeing the sparks fly between them! The plot blew me away and kept me on my toes and their was definitely plenty of action. The scenery was amazing as well as the descriptions. It truly felt like I was in space and it made for one heck of a fun ride.
PRIMAL PROTECTOR GETS AN EXCITING FIVE OUT OF THIS WORLD STARS!
Another wonderful adventure with the gang of FPU, (Federal Paranormal Unit). This time Martin Galvez meets his match. A rescue mission leads Martin to his mate Bambu. I won't post spoilers even though it is really hard not to. Come follow an interesting group of hilarious characters aboard a ship with a mind and mouth of her own. You just can't help but laugh along with them all. I just can't get enough of these guys and girls and I am betting you won't be able to either. Honestly if you have read any of the others in the series you will ADORE this one. Kudos LJ Vickery! Primal Protector
