In this important book, he tackles three major questions: What are the leading-edge approaches to managing nonprofit organizations? What should managers and board members be doing differently to enhance the performance of their organizations? How can the impact of the nonprofit sector be significantly increased? An informative, though somewhat dated at this point, overview of the key challenges that nonprofits face and the ways in which they can creatively solve those issues.

Mike Hudson did thorough research and supplemented his numbers with great quotes and case studies to further demonstrate the content he was covering.

For anyone in the nonprofit sector looking to get some ideas about how to revamp your organization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, I recommend giving this book a quick read! Lots of great ideas and thought-prompts.
