Interiors expert Rebecca Tanqueray explores how to make every inch of your home, from tiny kitchen to compact bedroom, work for you. Inspiring case studies are included. Chris Everard provides photography of real homes.
Made for people living in New York style cities, ie you have a condo. Expensive ideas. Lack of color used, which doesn't make sense. Using color can help the walls recede and give illusion of space quickly and easily. Very, very modern look.
Nice pictures, but their idea of 'small' is over 900 square feet. Also, one of the repeated suggestions is 'build a mezzanine' which only works if you own the place!
I liked the idea of this book because I have a very small house. But, it was a bit disappointing. The small format made all the print feel cramped and the pictures too small. The style of the homes is far too modern for me as well.
