Cupid's Arrow: A Valentine's Day Romance

Rate this book
Everyone needs to start over sometimes… And that is what Holly Jackson has done. By moving to a small town in Colorado, she opens her own boutique shop ‘Cupids Arrow’. It will give her a chance to sort out her life, figure out what she wants, and maybe, if she’s lucky, meet the right woman. And the reporter in town who keeps calling may be everything she has dreamed of, as long as she doesn't ask too many questions. Jill St.Valentine wants to start over, but with a failed relationship hanging over her head, she lacks the courage to do so. As a seasoned reporter with numerous awards under her belt, she has all the juicy gossip on everyone in town except the new girl who has yet to be seen by anyone. When Jill finally gets her one on one, the story unfolds in ways she could have never imagined. But things aren't as always as they seem, and sometimes there is much more to the story than just the headline.

Wonderful!

This is very well written with well developed characters. The women, Jill and Holly, while facing often common relationship issues like jealousy and past relationship baggage, also must face their own fears. In their budding romance, Jill discovers that Holly doesn't want what Jill most desires, children. Holly fears that when Jill discovers the truth about her past she will run for the hills, leaving Holly all alone. The only way to save their relationship comes down to sucking it up and opening up their hidden truths with each other. The storyline flows easily and includes mentions of characters from other books by this author. This book deserves a place on your must read list.

A arrow flew through the air and hit her Valentine!

People no matter how they grow up tend to assume and judge without hearing the rest of the story. It has happened to a lot of us ,myself included, and yes I had egg on my face later. The author has created such a story along with the same assuming and judging but the people involved decide to talk about it and people do forgive each other. Enjoy!

1 OF MY FAVORITE NOVELISTS
I'VE HAVE READ SIX OR MORE OF HER BOOKS 📚.
AND THROUGHOUT I'VE BEEN FULLY SATISFIED 😌. SHE IS VERY IN TUNED WITH HER AUDIENCE. THIS STORY WAS WRITTEN AS IF SHE EITHER KNEW IT FIRST HAND ✋. OR SOMEONE CLOSE TO HER.
