A man and woman awaken one morning in a house filled with broken glass and blood stained clothes. Friends and professional colleagues for many years, the twosome is completely unaware how or when the woman arrived at the man's house and, more important, what has happened to them during the previous eight hours. The local police believe the couple has committed a violent crime, but the forensic evidence paints a totally different picture altogether. What appears initially as a home invasion gone wrong, is actually a story about alien beings and human abductions. Set in the backwoods of upstate, South Carolina, this is the fictional account of Attorney Henry Dalton's terrifying experience of building a custom home in the middle of the Grey Area.
