The Andderson brothers are reunited with their best friend, Tank, and the Wolf Pack is finally back together. The reunion is cut short when they discover their entire group is being held hostage by a psychopath and her gang of killers. They're left with an come unarmed and in plain sight or the whole group will be killed. Surrender is not an option and the search begins for a way to turn the tide. But time is running out. Emmett is missing, possibly dead. Alexis and Ana are held captive by the Reclaimers. With no hope of being rescued in time, it's up to them to plan an escape. But when Ana is the first one taken to be reclaimed, Alexis realizes there may be no getting out of this one. Jezz just might kill them all.

Didn’t plan to read this in one day, but here we are. There was just no good stopping point so I HAD to keep reading to make sure everyone would make it out alive and okay!
James, Tank, Connor, and Chloe make quite the team, lol. I loved their dynamic and how well they worked together to rescue the rest of their group. Definitely confirmed here that Alexis is my second favorite character after James, and Ana…I honestly don’t know what I would have done in her situation, but I hope she’s okay and comes back to join them at some point. And after everything, Squeezer survived! I know it’s probably weird to care about the snake in the midst of all this, but I was worried about him and am so happy he’s back with the gang.
Jezz (love the name, it’s fits the maniacal maniac to a T) is totally insane and I was afraid for everyone who crossed her path and knowing there are actual people like her out in the world creeps me out. Her cult killer group is horrible and the fact that the heroes will have to face her and whoever she scrounges up after this to go after them is terrifying.
The intense intrigue and non stop action was REAL with this book and I’m glad we’ll get a bit of a breather in the next one because characters and reader alike need it!

I devoured this book in no time. Like the previous books in the series, the action keeps the story moving along at a swift pace as the brothers and their companions continue their challenging trek toward Alaska, safety, and a new life. Though, I must admit, there were moments when they seemed to take too much pleasure in killing things.
Now it’s onto the next book, Bad Company. Interesting note, the ending of Wolf Pack does a nice job giving the reader a chuckle and setting up the next book. Clever, light-hearted fun in the midst of zombie violence and human insanity. Once again, well done.
I think this is somehow the best book thus far--they just keep getting better 'n better! The stakes are rising fast, the characters are being pushed beyond limits, and we're getting glimpses of the fact that no matter what this outbreak means--is is permanent? Will humanity continue on, eventually, as usual?--their is still reason to fight.
I adore the plot line where the government is involved in the initial outbreak, somehow. Nothing is tossed around lightly and every twist and turn really counts! The pacing is fantastic and while I'm left putting pieces together, it really is one of those series you can't put down. I won't know what all caused the wreckage till I finish the last book, I think, and I love that.
As I said, this novel is super well paced. Nothing drags, nothing feels out of place, and there is always enough tension to wanna keep reading. The books take place over quick timelines, which isn't easy to pull off in most cases, but it is absolutely enjoyable here.
THEMES
Woowww. Wow. Where do I even start? I really enjoy the themes in this series. I've probably said that before. But, I mean, a hardcore series with wild rides that is actually God-centered? How cool is that?
The themes of brotherhood, courage, trust, faith, love, loyalty, good vs. evil, sooo many intense themes that aren't avoided. I enjoy the characters questioning their future, their skills, etc, and having to choose faith in God. I love seeing the characters trust each other, be there for each other, and choose loyalty over the easy way out. There is just SO much good vs. evil in this series and I AM HERE FOR IT.
I'll note that the tough topics of "does killing/doing hard things make me a monster, too?" is one of my favorite themes, so that was a lot of tough fun.
CHARACTERS
The Wolf Pack is amazing. Their jokes are usually bad (gotta admit, these books make me crack a smile or two) and they can be quite crazy. It is so great. I enjoy James, Connor, and Tank immensely!
Alexis is fabulous, I love her. Chloe is the bomb and watching her and Tank is just... aah. Emmett is a total favorite and I'm holding my breath because not everyone has to die, right...?
The antagonist Jezz (FITTING NAME) is super intriguing and I can't wait to see what else she does. Unless, y'know, another sweetheart dies because of her.
A side note: I've noticed with certain traditional authors, women are being written pretty routinely--she's gotta be hot and dangerous and sexy! So HUGE kudos to this series for having realistic women. Not to be That Person, but I love realistic writing, haha.
CONTENT
Gore, violence, action, it can get pretty intense but like, I'd say PG-13? PG-14? Is that still a thing? Who even knows or cares. Swearing is mild (no F bombs). No sexual content, really. Mentions of drinking. For a zombie series, they're pretty clean, in my opinion.
OVERALL
I've been making it a habit to buy each book signed from the author but catch me buying #4 off Amazon because MY CHILDREN ARE THEY SAFE?!
For real, I really enjoy this series. It is realistic, thrilling, and asks tough questions.
I’m 3 for 3 in this series and will definitely be a reader til the last word of the last book. Joshua Chadd has created an exciting, intriguing, harrowing and dramatic story with characters you can’t help but cheer for. I’m a huge reader and jump from author to author often. Chadd is one I’ll keep returning to again and again. I give this book 4.8/5 🌟
Great next book in the series! The excitement, suspense, and action have revved up again. We get to see the characters develop more and grow into their own while the world is ending and crumbling around them. They get put in tough situations and it’s an exciting ride to see what they do. And I can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment! Highly recommend!
If you enjoy action adventure I recommend this series. Chadd is a great author and really knows how to get you invested from the first page! He's great with characters and plot development as well. I am very attached to these guys and I truly hope they continue to make their way through this scary world they're facing! I am anticipating the next read :)
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
The third installment in this series is just as good as the first two! The Andderson brothers and Emmett are once again running into crazies and not of the zombie kind!! Great storyline and cant wait to see what happens next!!!!!!!!
This is the next exciting story in the Brother's journey to safety. The apocalypse hasn't slowed down and a new enemy emerges for the brothers. This story is well worth the read, and I recommend this to anyone that loves the zombie and horror genre! A must read!
Awesome as always. The Andderson brothers are reunited with Tank. Then they find out the group is held captive and they have to do something. Held me gripped until the end.
This third episode is just as good as the other two episodes and I loved all the interaction between the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes this type of reading.
What an incredible ride with the Wolfpack! It grabs you from the first page and makes you find ways to keep reading! I love following this group on their adventures and can't wait for the next book! I hope books 4 and 5 will be enough in the series but I'm not totally convinced I'll be ready to let them go. Great job Josh! I received this book from the publisher as an early reader!
I was anxiously waiting for Wolf Pack since I finished Battleborn and it was worth it. Joshua Chadd continues to thrill in this third installment of The Brother's Creed. It has all the action, camaraderie, adventure, as the first two, while improving on the character development and plot. The book has some unexpected twists, opens some new questions, and peeks into some interesting back stories that will hopefully play out in the next books. The Brothers are united with their friend Tank and with most of their crew. They won a great victory and are getting closure to their objective, but in the process have antagonized a dangerous enemy and may have lost one of their own. I can hardly wait to see how this all comes together in book 4. Wolf Pack ends on a bit of a cliff hanger again; fortunately Mr. Chadd does seem to have a speedy writing/publishing pace so the wait shouldn't be too long. And, as with the rest of the series a portion of the profits go to Colors of Heroes.
Just finished book 3 of the Brother's Creed series, and could it be? Has Joshua C Chadd made a zombie fan out of me?? Doggone if these books haven't hooked me! They are so much more than zombie apocalypse, "whoo-hoo let's blow some stuff up and kill things" (although there's plenty of that too!) One, the books have really touched me emotionally, the characters have had to deal with so much (in the book's timeline, roughly a week) in so little time, and Josh does a masterful job of showing us how broken the characters have become on some levels. James especially is dealing with some pretty hefty PTSD, which sometimes put him and others in danger, and several other characters face death, whether it's fearing for their own lives, losing loved ones, or having to take someone else's, and Josh doesn't deal lightly with the subject. (Unless it's killing zombies, then it's off with their heads, haha) I just really appreciate that Josh is willing and able to take the reader to that sometimes-uncomfortable place and show their real humanity, that they're not just killing machines. You really care about these characters and what they're going through. And it makes you think about your own life and the people in it, and appreciate them all the more. Another fun side effect of these books is that it's made me want to upgrade my preps, which, not a bad thing, I guess hahaha. Looking forward to Bad Company, where I hope the brothers finally get to rest and recoup a little...they've had it rough going! Maybe they'll get a break.
Book three – Wolf Pack – picks up the story straight away and thrusts the reader into a hellish situation. As the description outlines, “…they discover their entire group is being held hostage by a psychopath and her gang of killers.” This gang, the Reclaimers, are the standard-flair of post-apocalyptic, Mad Max variety. How the Reclaimers turn to evil and mobilize and fortify so quickly is something lost on me.
The bulk of the story and action unfolds in two environments – the Reclaimers’ camp and a nearly vacant, mysterious outpost. I really can’t go into detail without spoiling this installment.
Overall this book reads quick. There is plenty of action to keep the reader engaged.
The book ends as one would expect. The epilogue loudly shouts – the past isn’t always dead.
Book Three. So here's my preview of what I said in Book 1. What do you do when you are hunkering down to avoid COVID-19 that, who knows, may have the potential at some future time turn those that die into Zombies? Well, you read a series about a Pandemic and Zombies or in this case listen to it. The first of five books we learn about two brothers, a father and daughter and other hanger-on's who may or may not live to the end of Book 5. It has kept we walking real fast because who know who or what is out there lurking behind a bush as I get some exercise. So far I have learned that I need plenty of ammo and guns plus a hide-away all the way in Alaska.
I have also learned that you need a few friends and tunes to help with the trip.
I have also learned that there can be bad people out there besides the Zombies so watch out.
When you think a series could not get any better, the author just has to prove you wrong. Joshua C. Chadd ratcheted up a notch once again. But he also gave us a peak in the human psyche few would admit existed. I worked in ER in several Level 1 Trauma centers for too long. Ever wonder what it would be like to talk to a raving psychopath chained to a stretcher with 3 SWAT team members in attendance. Four 9mm slugs in them and looking into their eyes you knew True Evil is looking at you. Or the person who lost all sense of reality. Watch someone talking to an IV pole, obviously in deep conversation. Joshua shares both persona in this book. For that alone is reason to get this book and read it. When phenomenal read once again.
If you haven’t read this series get on it right away this book was in my recommended books an at first I was going to pass it up so happy I didn’t this book is fast paced from beginning to end the characters become real to you an the right amount of danger heartbreak an hope I do can’t wait for the next I new it now I’m going through withdrawals lol get them but start with the first book outbreak ok
The Creed brothers find Tank and have to try to save their group. This installment is heavily faith based. Much of it deals with releasing yourself to have faith that God will provide. Interesting mixture of heavy faith in God and heavy weapons and military grade equipment. This one is probably my least favorite of the series so far.
Great story. Characters come to life. Great zombie adventure. Couldn’t put it down since book 1. I really enjoyed reading about the brothers and friends, who went above and beyond to protect their family and friends. It had enough mystery with some of the characters that you hav to keep reading future books.
I like the characters in the series. I also like how he explained about all the wepons. only thing I didn't like was bringing up God so much. I know your religious and all but you need to remember not every one believes that stuff
In this novel the group is basically dealing with one creepy group which has a warped leader. Just a part of the genre. Most importantly, I like the characters. I want to see what becomes of them. I want them to make it in Alaska. I will be there for their next adventure.
Inspiring to see faith renewed when all seem lost.
Very grateful for the more satisfying ending in this one. Still looking forward to books 4 and 5. Amazing still to imagine how differently people respond to impossible odds.
Between zombies, cults, a shadowy military group and had choices these books make for quick and entertaining reads. I look forward to the next one, and seeing how the characters cope with their new life.
As I read this series each book gets a little better. Theres great characters and a decent plot and a very evil and deadly villain that makes this story a I want to read the next page even when I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open.
As always Joshua,s book does not disappoint is fast paced a lot of action and very likable characters .I would recommend his book to all those that love the apocalyptic genre
Author Joshua C. Chadd throws down the gauntlet on this one! Death, dismemberment, and chaos fill the pages of this book. I couldn't put it down. I had to know what mayhem and destruction came next! Can't wait to dive into book 4.
Wolf Pack is incredibly exciting and the storyline is intense! I love this series and highly recommend it. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. I already have book 4 on my Kindle ready to read!
