Nathaniel Branden was a Canadian–American psychotherapist and writer known for his work in the psychology of self-esteem. A former associate and romantic partner of Ayn Rand, Branden also played a prominent role in the 1960s in promoting Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. Rand and Branden split acrimoniously in 1968, after which Branden focused on developing his own psychological theories and modes of therapy.
I was desperate for any book by Nathaniel Branden then I stumbled upon this audio book. Not sure what to expect I listened then it turned out it's exactly what I wanted to hear. It doesn't have a structure nor does it propose a getaway to raising one's self-esteem for its sole purpose is to make you go through imaginative-sort-of experience with reassurance thus experiencing how it's like to have high self-esteem. It does help in relaxing the body and listening to it daily does count as practicing. I find it extremely helpful especially to those who go through anxiety attacks.
