I’m worthless. My brother’s famous. His girlfriend, my best friend, is a badass who risked her life to save mine. I’m a treatment junkie. Not that you’d know by looking at me. I keep my body covered and my thoughts to myself. Until him. A drug dealer. A crime lord. He’s one of the bad guys. … but his scars draw me in. I fall. Hard. Until the day his past comes back to haunt him and I decide I’m gonna save him. Why’s the guy always gotta be the hero?
Another fantastic story by Bry Ann which is the second in the Saving Her series. I loved the chemistry and rollercoaster friendships between the characters, all of which were built on love.for each other. Bry Ann again, delves into deep, emotional and heavy issues from different points of view, with such compassion, it's hard not to get emotionally attached to the characters. I could not stop reading this book and can't wait to read the next in the series, Saving Them. Highly recommended.
Although this is a continuation of book 1. You could read it as a standalone. There are hard uncomfortable topics covered in this book but Bry Ann is sympathetic and sensitive.
Gunner has left and Dana is determined to find him. The book flashes back to the events that changed Dana's life and forever shaped her into the woman she is now. Gunner is on a mission to find his parents Killers, he left Dana to keep her safe. Gunner is taken, and Dana calls his friend Rex and her friend Alexa to help. The plot twist will blow your mind!!
Rex and Alexa story will be another roller-coaster of emotions, and I don't want to get off!!!
