The latest volume in the Hazelden Meditation Series, offering inspiring dailymeditations that address a variety of issues important to men recovering fromaddictions. Illustrated.
This was the first of the Hazelden-published books of daily meditations for various specific groups of people, and along with Days of Healing, Days of Joy, which is for people who grew up in abusive or neglectful homes, it has been more useful, more encouraging, and more relevant for me than any of the others, some of which are also very good.
My favorite daily meditation book. Even though it was written with men in mind you can easily swap the gender for anything you want in these and still find the meditations effective.
These are sincere, realistic, intelligent, and gentle reflections on a whole range of issues. They will benefit anyone to read them at any point in recovery from anything. Truly a universal work of timeless wisdom. I read it daily
One of the Hazelden recovery books targeted specifically at men in recovery. A page a day just like other little books in program. On my nightstand next to my bed, gets read over and over and never gets old.
