When I look into his eyes, I don’t know whether to smack him on the nose or kiss that potty mouth speechless…
I know how to work hard. Maybe that intimidates some men, but that’s the only way you get ahead in my world.
So I need my rest when I can get it, but I’m finding that hard to do ever since Tyler moved into the building.
He parties all night long, and doesn’t seem to care how many times I beg him to quiet down.
Those piercing eyes, that slight sneer of his as he stands in the doorway.
I swear to God he likes watching me squirm every time I knock on his door to ask.
The worst part is that we both know he won’t listen. And then I’ll be kept awake by the noise and those thoughts of him.
He’s a total jerk, but in my fantasy he’s knocking on my door. Telling me that he needs me as he tears off all my cloths.
Do I like him? How can that be?
I can’t even stand to be in the same building as him, but I can’t stand that he’s not in bed with me either.

And there was a fire incident, they were trapped in a closet. And he kissed her. Two weeks later, she fainted in front of the elevator because of overworking. He brought her up into her apartment. Tyler Norton, the CEO of Les Chic, actually helped the movers bring his “stuff” into his new apartment. His sister had loved loud parties, so it was easier to give his apartment over to her and move elsewhere. He had made a good choice; but the silence he had craved was now stifling! Then a neighbor, looking like a model, stopped by to allegedly welcome him, but he knew she recognized who he was and was just hoping to advance her career or something. To avoid her invitation for drinks, he told her he had friends coming over and she invited herself! So he asked a few friends to come see his new place. After several drinks, he decided he would take her up on what she was blatantly offering him.
Ali was exhausted after a long day at work and headed to her apartment. Riding up in the elevator, she had seen Amanda draped all over a good-looking man and was hoping they wouldn’t hook up in public. Loud music was blaring at 2:00 a.m., and she could hear it plainly despite the thick doors of the apartments. But it was too late to deal with the new neighbor at this hour, and she fell asleep despite the noise.
Through misunderstandings, Ali gets the idea that Tyler is just a player. He says the wrong thing at the wrong time at a party and Ali is hurt by his comment. Will the two of them ever find out if their attraction is real? Will they ever take a chance on a relationship?
This was a good book, well written and humorous – just the way I like them! I enjoyed the story line, the quirky characters, and the crazy situations the two main characters always seemed to find themselves in! I definitely recommend this one. You won’t regret it!
I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc.
Tyler moved into his new apartment he wasn't in there 10 minute when one of his neighbors a big blonde knocks on his door welcome him and so did his sister. They were getting pretty loud and Ali just home from work and she wasn't going to put up with it. Tyler was getting really drunk and he figures he would take the blonde to bed. The next morning when Ali was leaving for work she gets on the elevator and there is Tyler and his blonde all over each other
Ali finally meets Tyler again when she collapsed in front of her door she was that so tired. Tyler takes her into her house and the next morning when Ali woke up she couldn't help but wonder what happened. Then she sees Tyler on her couch sleeping. Tyler told her that he is staying for a couple of days to check on her.
Tyler asked Ali to go with him to his office party. Owen came over to talk and he spotted Ali. Tyler got a little jealous and when Ali went to the ladies room Owen asked him about Ali. Tyler didn't know Ali was behind him when he tells him she was her neighbor and she was nothing. When he sees Owen's face he realizes what was happening as he sees Ali leave and he goes after her.
Ali and Tyler finally get together after some tumultuous events. I really enjoyed the characters especially it is not about model skinny. Another great book by Lexi Aurora.
Wrong for Me by Lexi Aurora ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ali is tired, opening her new restaurant takes all her time. Tyler wants a break as well, and when he meet Ali in his new apartment building as she started to complain about his loud music. Tyler's newest endeavor as CEO of Les Chic is stressful. Amanda, his new neighbor knows who he is, and she's all over him, even in the elevator. When Ali meets the two like this she believes they're together. Then, she sees him with someone else and assumes he's just a player. What Ali doesn't understand is that he's interested in getting to know her. They start off on the wrong foot, but still manage to get together, until Ali thinks he's back to his player ways, which she wants none of. With a comedy of errors and bad timing, one wonders if they will ever admit their mutual attraction. They each have their own lives to lead and businesses to run. As in all Aurora's romances, things tend to get worse before they get better. But, that's the joy of reading her novels; the winding road to get to the good stuff! It's antagonistic, sexy and just plain fun! 💕 I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Another great quick read by Lexi Aurora. This one is about Tyler and Ali, who live in the same apartment building, but seem to live different lives via very different upbringings. Tyler is not even moved into his new apartment before the resident “model thin, gorgeous” neighbor is pretty much on top of him, but to Tyler’s non interest. Because they are loud and disruptive, Ali is not happy b/c she just got back home from work at her own diner/restaurant and instantly takes a dislike to Tyler. Even though there is an instant dislike b/w Tyler and Ali, they develop a friendship and this leads to more. I was really happy to see where this book went and especially how it ended and was appreciative of the up & down journey of Tyler and Ali’s relationship. You won’t be disappointed, buy it!
The story had a lot of plot holes. So many questions left unanswered. The story was rushed. Technically, they weren't really enemies.
If Tyler really was a billionaire, why was he living on the same floor with so many of the other tenants? I doubt the building was full of rich people. There wasn't even a doorman.
What happened to Amanda? She lives across the hall. There was no mention of her after their encounter.
Her parents were conveniently placed at the story without any kind of background info.
There was no character development. They didn't really have personalities to begin with. The plot had potential but the execution was just MEH!
This was a quick, enjoyable read. And I loved that the playboy didn't have to deflower amyone. And Tyler isn't really a playboy. Tyler and Ali don't make good impressions on each other at first, but things start to thaw. They actually get to know each other and even though he usually goes for the stick thin model types, Ali is a real woman with curves and all. And he finds her and her curves extremely attractive to say the least. I enjoyed the quick read. Even tho it was quick, there was no Insta love or anything you had to suspend belief over. Would recommend when you're looking for a quick, entertaining, hot read.
I just finished reading “Wrong for me” ( ARC copy) and I loved ❤️ it 😍! Just love it when these cocky billionaire characters fall for the “ordinary sassy type of girl”, like Ali. I like the way she stands up to him even though she has self esteem issues regarding her weight and appearance. But, Tyler here, sees the real Ali and he makes sure she “knows it”. Great story Lexi! I give it a 5 ⭐️.
Btw, on January 23rd, your release date...well, it’s also my birthday 🎂 date...😂😂😉😉. Just keep writing those wonderful stories and I’ll keep reading them.
Sparks fly, and it's glorious. They can try to deny it but Ali and Tyler are sheer perfection. They drive me crazy and crack me up, I had such a great time reading this book. Some steam and an attraction that's undeniable even when they dislike one another. I can try to bottle up there traction but once that thing gets shaken up it explodes and is a total treat for the reader. A very highly recommended read, I give this book all the 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Wonderfully written and well paced with strong characters. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
4.5 Stars!! There is Ali, a chef opening a new restaurant. She is quiet and sticks pretty much to herself and works hard. Then there is Tyler, the alpha CEO of a fashion magazine. He moves in across from her and has a loud party that gets her beyond angry. They don't get along, are totally wrong for each other but he has an attraction to her and so does she. Will they be able to overcome their issues? Can they make things work? You'll need to read the story to find out. I enjoyed it, hope you do as well.
I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this fast paced sexy romance. Tyler moved into Ali's building and did not make a good impression on her. They were both attracted to each other right away but made each other crazy. Their arguments cracked me up. The sexual tension between them was crazy. I loved how they finally became friends and just advanced from there. They make a great couple. I also loved how Tyler stood up to Ali's parents. It was a perfect way from him to show his love for her.
Humorous at times, this was a cute romance between opposites. Ali has worked hard to get her new restaurant up and going. She's serious and annoyed at her neighbor's loud parties that keep her up at night. His playboy ways annoy her. He's the editor of a top fashion magazine and really had an interest in her but they got off on the wrong foot. Lots of drama. twists and misunderstandings finally lead to an HEA. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Tyler moves into a new building hoping for quiet but doesn’t find what he is looking for. Ali is tired and just wants to rest after her long day but Tyler’s partying ways are annoying her. Despite their dislike they become friends but will there be more? This is a fun, entertaining read with loads of drama, the characters were a lot of fun and the story held my interest throughout. I liked it.
Do they have anything in common besides him telling her endlessly that he thinks she’s perfect and beautiful? Awkward story, told in the first person POV by hero and heroine, but it’s all tell, no direct feelings and I could not connect with the characters at all.
Great storyline but needed more editing work. The characters are great as well. But at least one chapter had the heading of Tyler and it was definitely Ali's POV. A few other chapters had some mixed up words as well. But in all a solid 4 stars due to the confusion caused by the errors.
What a great read. He noisy and obnoxious. She is frustrated but very interested. He makes a lot of noise and she can't sleep. It is exciting, hot, amusing and so much more. I recommend it. I couldn't put it down. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Great story, the fiery chemistry between Ali and Tyler is sure to set your kindle on fire. I really enjoyed this enemies to lover romance and Ms Aurora wrote it well
I rec'd a copy and voluntarily leave my own thoughts
This story drew me in from page 1 and I quickly fell in love with these characters. The writing is smooth, witty, it just flew by because I couldn't put it down. No predictable insta-love here; they earn that HEA. Dual POVs, smexiness, heart - all the feels
Very captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This one was okay...not my favorite of hers. It all seemed solely based on their looks and sex. While neither of those is truly bad, it didn't work this time around. But we get a HEA and quick read!
