Blood is thicker than water. Love doesn't exist, it's just a disease that infects the weak. Killian's Pass is a charming little town until you look beneath the surface. The residents hide a dark and chilling secret, and will do anything to keep it hidden.
The creepiest part of horror for me is the human element, and this book delivers on it in spades. I wish it was longer so that we could get a fuller view of what happens to three of our main characters when they are working together, and to really understand the circumstances they were in. The time and perspective jumps work really well in keeping the story moving and winding together so many different threads. This was a fun, creepy read, that manages to be cinematic, even with how short it is.
