Nothing worthwhile in life ever comes fast or easy. Twenty five years after first meeting the Charon MC's president, Scout, Marie is still waiting for him to realize they're meant to be together. But instead, he comes to her asking she hire his ex. Frustrated with his continued rejection, she leaves town for the weekend to clear her head and maybe find a man who'll help her forget her infatuation. When Scout first met Marie, she was way too young, and he hadn't been looking to settle down. Over the years, he'd never bothered to rethink his stance. When he learns Marie has fled town, he panics and realizes he needs to step up and claim what has always been his. Tracking her down, he approaches her at her hotel and he finally lets the sparks fly. But before they can ride off into the sunset, trouble brews and Scout is taken by an enemy from their past that neither of them knew had been lying in wait. Can they overcome this latest hurdle to finally find their happily ever after? Or are they doomed to always be apart?
The description for this book is the wrong one. It's for the next book which I'm looking forward to finding out what is going on with these two.
This is Tinys and Missy/Mercedes book. Mercede is her real name but at the club she goes by Missy because she is on the run. There's sick people in this world.
This is just a quick short book so hopefully there will be more about them in other books.
Book itself was good but low rating is because of the price. Now before you folks start telling me that the author shouldn't be penalized for what the publisher charges and that it is out of their hands let me say.....find another publisher. If authors continue to write a book that doesn't start until page 5 and ends on page 54 it's NOT a whole book. I don't mind paying for a whole book but to be charged a price that is usually for a whole book and then find out it is only 54 pages is getting real old real quick. If the publishing companies continue to price this way they will find people will quit buying the books and they and the author will suffer. Now there are other books in this series and this is the 4th and the first three were longer. There are three remaining book to read about in this MC but I will research heavily before I buy them to see how many pages there will be. As much as I would like to know about the others I refuse to pay the price for a piece of a book. I work hard for my money and when this happens it just makes me sad that I wasted my money on such a short piece. Okay that is my rant and many won't agree but it is what it is. I use a Nook and I understand that the page count is different for every devise but I don't think it will change the page count that much.
This was a short one, but quite a bit was packed in it. I liked that Keg goaded Tiny to do something he wanted, but hated how Tiny screwed it up. Hated how hurt Missy was and her reaction as it put her in danger. Good thing Tiny finally got his head out of his ass and did something and what a something it was. I especially like the ending, loved that Mercedes got her closure and her HEA.
This is Tiny and Missy's story, unlike the description here. Good story but I would have lived a little more info as to what happened after the FBI got, well I don't want to give things away.
This isn't a book, it's barely the length of one scene in any other MC book. It's like 40 pages, if that. Only five things happen here and all of them are very brief and very badly written that it's a shock this person isn't so embaressed that they publised this enough to delete it-
1) a girl speaks to a guy about joining his biker club 2) followed by one scene of a biker called Tiny liking the girl and claiming her after seeing her with two guys 3) The next morning he changes his mind so she leaves 4) He goes after her and stops her from being attacked by her stepfather, who makes a two second appearance. And 5) Them getting back together.
That's it! I stopped reading at that point because it took like 30 minutes of reading to show I was already at almost 70%. It's ridiculous. And it's a disgrace. This person should be embaressed they published this, and Amazon should ban people like this, who claim to be authors but who waste people's time with their basic and badly written rubbish!.
The fact I also couldn't be bothered to read the last scene, which was their making up sex scene, shows how poor and uninteresting this and the writing was. It's really never good when you can't be bothered to read the sex scene, even when you are on the page contain it
The writing is really bad. It's like English isn't this person's first language, and I refuse to call them an author when their grammar is so bad, and when they word even very common and well known phrases wrongly. And when they publish this nothing as if it's a book.
Avoid this. It's a complete waste of time. Even free on KU it's not worth wasting the 30 minutes it would take you to read it. It would barely be one short scene in any other MC book. Basic doesn't come close to describing this nothing of a book.
Sometimes when I start a series, I can read one then read another in the book down the line. I couldn't with this series. I am reading them one after another after another. I am pretty sure I am addicted and that is okay. Also in my head om nom nom, deliciously, wicked and dirty images. I also have to say one of my favorite things is how much the women love sex, I mean absolutely fucking love it. I hate when in books there is romance and it always seems the guy is wanting sex. Um, hello women love dirty, raunchy, can't walk straight, I can still smell myself on your face dirty sex. We like slow sex, we like fast sex, we love tender sex, we love rough sex, we love sex where you can't feel any bones in your body as you are just a giant puddle from well satisfied sex. Then there are the guys, as I've said before I have a weakness for military men add in some tattoos, motorcycles and the strong need they have to get their women off - yep I am so there. I love that the whole idea of Mercedes was a whore and I like that it wasn't degrading. She enjoyed it, she didn't feel cheap or disgusted, it was what it was. And Tiny, such an ironic nickname for a man who has been through so much and feels so much. What saddens me is the commune thing, because even if people lie to themselves and say this doesn't happen...it does. And many times there isn't a happy ending or people such as Charon MC to get rid of them. With every good person, there is a whole is a whole ground willing to destroy people on the sheer principle they can. I loved Mercedes bravery and I love her backbone.
This is a shorter story than the first in the Charon MC series, but it packs a punch! Missy is on the run and turns to the MC for a place to stay, convincing her to live with them as one of the club whores. She knows the rules, but nothing could prepare her for Tiny. He can't stay away and wants her for only himself, but can he step up and claim her? When her past catches up to her can he be the man she needs?
A quick and hot read filled with passion and excitement. Fans of the series will love catching up on other members of the MC and their lives
Claiming Tiny is the 4th installment in Khloe Wren's Charon MC Universe.
This is a short read compared to the others but that doesn't mean you won't get what you expect. We have been introduced to Tiny so far as a fellow member of the Charon Motorcycle Club in Bridgewater, Texas. Like everyone else, they play and party hard but once they have a woman in their sights, they will never let them go.
Mercedes did not have a easy life. She ran the moment she could from her past to Bridgewater because she heard it was safe.
Safe.
A word that everyone wants to feel and the moment Tiny saw her, it was all over. Sparks will fly. Tempers will Rage. All of the old sayings will bubble up in this short read to a "fireworks" of a finale that makes you blush as do all of Khloe Wren's men.
This could be read as a stand alone but to understand the community, the characters surrounding Tiny and Mercedes, it is suggested to read the first 3 in her series.. (Chasing Taz: Charon MC #3, Fighting Mac: Charon MC #2 and Inking Eagle: Charon MC #1).
Missy comes from A horrible background but lands on her feet with the Charons. She was told not to form at attachment with a brother but the heart wants what the heart wants. Tiny is torn. He wants Missy but he is jaded by past matters. He doesn't want an old lady but he doesn't want the others using her. Her past catches up to her and a lightbulb to ally goes off for him.
Tiny and missys story was sadly really short. That's why I only granted it 3 stars. I feel the potential behind this story could of been amazing instead of being a short novella. Very fast. Quick and to the point. We never really fully got to understand and feel how both tiny and missys pasts made them who they are today altogether. Such a shame.
I swear Tiny is as stupid as ever. He hates seeing Missy with other men, but waited too long to do anything about it. Messing up the way he did after sleeping with her was inevitable. He thought he wouldn't do well with having an Ol Lady. I can't wait to see what's up with Scout.
I wasn’t sure what to expect with Tiny. He had not really stood out to me in the previous books, but his story was equally as good! Love so many of the scenes and the ending was great!! I can’t give any specifics because it will ruin the story for you. If you haven’t read the previous three books you really should!! They are all so good! On to the next one....
This author is fairly new to me and I am completely hooked on this series. She does a great job of making her characters feel like family. I am definitely looking forward to more!
Ahhhh, I always love a novella thrown into a series. Especially when it’s action packed and grabs you right in the heart like this one does. Tiny and Missy are perfect for each other.
An excellent series and outstanding book. The men that ride in the Charon MC are strong, honorable and loyal. The series should not go under 18 years old.
Although shorter than previous boos in the series it does not pack any less of a punch. I loved Tiny and Missy's story. This series is a must-read! On to the next one and I cant wait to see what Khloe has in store for me with Scout's story .
Easy listen not as good as Eagle Mac and Taz's books but it is still good, I did listen to the audible rather than read, but I liked tge story's plot and it kept gripped from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this series.
She's a women in a bad situation but finds herself a better life with Tiny and the club. Great mc series always looking forward to reading the next book
Claiming Tiny is short story with some humor, sexy time and some action scenes. This story is a great addition to the Charon MC series. Happy Reading!!
Love it. Can't get enough of the Charon's MC family. Tiny and Missy are the perfect opposite attract couple and to tip it off the ending won't say but yay for closure on some past issues
Love the way the author weaves the story together. Another great storyline with interesting characters. I look forward to reading the next installment of this series.
