This is a very accessible book for any individual at any proficiency of math. Whether you’re just curious about some basic math premises or fairly advanced in statistical inference, this book will share history on concepts and make you think about math you learned long ago and mostly forgot!

This is a gem of a book.

I used it as a teaching aide for homeschooling my son in math. The author presents a clear and easy to understand pathway through the major areas of study in math. He utilizes great examples, humor, intellect and teaches things in a way that anyone can understand.

If you want to learn more about numbers, algebra, geometry, probability, statistics and many subjects in between, you should pick this book up. It is written in a way that anyone can find confidence to approach math no matter your level or love or terror for the subject.

An enjoyable read that transported me back to my days of studying math. The author's simple and easy-to-follow style made it a pleasant journey. I appreciated gaining insights into the behind-the-scenes of various discoveries leading up to well-known formulas. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Love this book! It's so friendly you almost forget it's about Maths. And the history bits? Just absolute perfection, the chef's kiss!

Now all things aside, if you've studied Humanities all your life and want to dive back into Maths for whatever reason, this introduction is spot on!

Good for a brush up of the very basic foundational stuff. Also, a little bit of history involving mathematics.

A very fundamental, beginner-level book covering basic mathematics topics, which includes short stories in some places, and is supported by simple operations/questions/examples.
