”I am a flawed man, Grace.”
“But there’s always something good in anyone, even someone as flawed as you.”

To be honest, I didn’t have any expectation for this book but you know what? It turned out pretty amazing once I was familiar with the story setting and the characters. Saving Grace is such a great title for this book both literally and metaphorically since Grace is not only the damsel in distress but also the holy grail for the male protagonist. Thus, I think this book starts well.

Long story short, Grace witnessed the murder of her own parents when she was 15 because her father caught the head of a local human-trafficking, drug-dealing and illegal-weapon-selling gang and now the gang was seeking revenge by annihilating her family, including her. Luckily, Grace was saved by her father’s close friend and had lived in a convent for 10 years before transferring to “The Fort,” a heavily guarded building and was protected by one of the well-trained operators, Nix.

Grace was a religious person who believed in God and prayed whole-heartedly every day. On the contrary, Nix had protected everyone he loved but himself and what’s worse, he let his heart and soul rot without regrets. Just like Grace, he also experienced the deaths of his parents at a young age but somehow that dreadful day had snuffed out the light in his life forever.
I soon realize that we’re more similar than different.
We’ve both experienced the deaths of our parents in the most brutal and unexpected of ways. There was never any closure on our part, and because of that, we’ve ended up with chipped hearts. Then, through the years, we’ve experienced deaths of people who meant more to us than ourselves. While I used my own loss and pain to make my heart whole again, Nix used his to chip away at more of what was left of his. Now, all he has left is a skeleton of a heart he once had while mine has slowly but surely regained its form.

Thankfully, Grace became Nix’s mission so he had no choice but to spend a lot of time with her. Undoubtedly, Nix didn’t give a damn about Grace because bringing her into their fort meant one thing—putting all of Nix’s family and friends in danger—but as time went by, Grace gradually found the key to his heart by showing her unwavering kindness, love and forgiveness.
”And, despite you lashing out at me, I pray for you every night. When I close my eyes, I see a protector. I see the willing heart of a savior! I see you!”
His angry scowl disappears.
I blink twice to stop my tears from falling. “Now, I only see an angry man who is worthy of all the accusations I can throw at him. But don’t worry; I won’t fester in my anger. I’ll just forgive you again.”

Though it took a while for Nix to truly grasp the idea that Grace wasn’t just an object for him to take good care of but someone special for him to save and vice versa, I still found this entire part of story profoundly heart-warming and sweet.
Realization of how Grace has continually challenged my heart from day one hits me like an uppercut to the chin. Her heartfelt words, somber eyes, warm voice, and loving touch are like manna from heaven. I stand motionless with my heart beating erratically as acceptance of who she is to me settles within.

Besides, I was surprised by how humorous the tone of the story was since there were several hilarious banters between the two lovebirds. Here’s my top favorite one:
”It’s gonna be a short ride to The Fort. So, just relax.”
“It takes less than a few minutes for an accident to happen. Um, I think I’ll just stay.” I take a step back preparing to escape.
“Look”—he blows out a breath and clenches his jaw—“that’s a negative.”
“Well, I’m positive I don’t want to meet my maker just yet!” I hate that my voice screeched in desperation.
“And you have a straight path to heaven. Problem solved.” He cocks his head to the side and raises his brow.
This guy needs some serious prayer, and I need a priest to give me my last rites.

Frankly, the reason I LOVED this book was not simply because of the romance, I highly appreciated how natural the interaction was among all the characters instead. I mean, Grace was always this innocent, slightly naïve girl all the time and for someone like Nix or his brothers, who had seen countless deaths of their loved ones and been through tons of tough times in their 20-something lives, it wasn’t easy for them to protect her while worrying about their family’s own safety. Let alone “getting along with” her or maintaining a “good friendship” with her. Hence, the author definitely impressed me more and more as the story went on and by the end of it, I was completely overwhelmed by how well-done it turned out.

All in all, I absolutely enjoyed reading Saving Grace because the overall writing style was amazing, the characters were memorable in their unique ways, and the romance was just a cherry on top. Although I wasn’t sure about what will happen in the sequel, YES. There’ll be a freaking sequel!!!, judging from the epilogue of this book, I knew there’s more to Nix and Grace’s story as well as Nix’s brothers’ since you know, they hadn’t eliminated the entire gang…yet. Anyway, I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Saving Grace and I surely will continue stalking Nix and Grace and everyone in this book in the future.

~ 4.5 Gem On Earth Stars ~

I have been waiting awhile for what Gigi Aceves would give us next. I LOVED her Able Series so I was thrilled to learn she was releasing Saving Grace.

This book didn’t disappoint at all. It’s another wonderful read that had my emotions all over the place. I found the storyline to be entertaining, emotional and suspenseful. I ended up loving all the characters we met but it took me awhile to like/love Phoenix (Nix)(H). He truly is one that has to grow on you and he had a lot of redeeming to do in my eyes for me to even like him. I will say I loved watching him grow as a character and I loved watching Grace bring that out in him.

I absolutely LOVE Gigi's writing style. Her stories flow effortlessly and they suck you in and don't let go until the very last page…even then she leaves you wanting more!!! She has the ability to create characters that you can't help but fall in love with and hurt when they hurt. She can pull every emotion a person has out in her stories. What I love the most is that she can have me laughing one minute and then crying my eyes out in the very next page. She truly takes you emotions and heart on a rollercoaster ride!! But it is so worth it.

Saving Grace is a stand-alone novel that is told in Dual POV. I have a feeling this is going to be the first of a new series for Gigi but I’m not sure yet. Grace and Nix’s story is complete but the epilogue left an opening for the next story in this series. This is a fairly quick read but nothing was rushed. I thought the flow and pace worked for Nix and Grace’s story.

I loved that she gave us a small cameo from her Able series in this book. No you don’t have to read the Able series first, it was just nice to see that character again.

This is a story I don’t want to talk to much about because it is one every reader needs to unfold for themselves. I would 100% recommend this book to everyone who loves a good love story but has some suspenseful elements added in. I look forward to what Gigi gives us in the future!!!

Saving Grace by Gigi Aceves is the story of Grace Carmichael and Phoenix 'Nix' Hayes.
Grace's parents were murdered when she was around 15 years old, which was pretty traumatic for her.
A family friend named Joe, came to her rescue in the form of dropping her off in a convent and leaving her there for 10 years. Grace in turn became very religious. Joe's 'adopted son Nix is put in charge of finally going to get Grace and bring her to 'The Fort' where they live.
Nix also lost his parents to but he is the opposite of in how they are handling the lost, attitude and he is a bad boy to her good girl life.
Nix starts to have strong feelings for Grace but doesn't believe he is good enough for her. Grace to is starting to have feelings for Nix and this is a story of who is really saving who.

Danger and love are a potent mix…

I loved this author’s Able series – loved it – and couldn’t wait to start this standalone which I hope is the start of another series. Well, it better be! But more on that later… As I started reading, I was hoping for more memorable characters, nail-biting suspense and love-tinged drama. I was, happily, not disappointed.

“This meek-as-a-lamb, almost-a-nun-but-not-really five-foot woman in my arms has slowly wormed her way into my psyche.”

Grace’s life took a horrible, dramatic turn when she was only fifteen. She spent the next decade hidden away to keep her safe, living in an insular world, safe from the lows (and the highs) or regular life. When she is abruptly thrust back into mainstream life she doesn’t know what is to come and what to make of the new found family she finds herself reluctantly a part of…

“His strength. His passion. His bravery. His confidence…. He is mine.”

Nix is battling his own demons, understanding what it is to lose the safety and love of family. He believes Grace is dangerous to those he loves and does his duty by them, even if he doesn’t believe in it, or feel it. At first, anyway….

“You deserve her. Do you understand? You. Deserve. Her.”

This was more than just a romance. Nix and Grace found their way but the family that surrounded them meant everything during each step of the way. They found love and so did I as each character, unique and compelling, felt warm and familiar by the end of this tension-filled tale. Bumps, turns and many hiccups meant a roller coaster that was easy to get lost in. And lost I did. When it came to the end, just as I was drifting into what I hoped was a well-deserved, warm and fuzzy ending, there came a cliffhanger. A don’t-throw-that-kindle-you’ll-regret-it cliffhanger! While Nix and Grace may have found their happiness, not all is well, not well at all! This author knows how to throw curveballs but leaving the story like this – it was literary cruelty.

I will mutter dark things as I wait impatiently for the next book in what I hope is a long series…

Saving Grace is a story about loss and finding love in the most unlikely places.

New to me author, Gigi Aceves has delivered an emotionally angsty story that is capable of reducing you to tears, yet also smitten you with the romance. I have no expectations when it comes to new authors, only that I requested the book because the plot sounded like something that is right up my alley and I was pleasantly surprised to find Saving Grace to be a good read.

Albeit predictable, the book does contain the right amount of drama and angst that I was looking for when I was reading the blurb. However, I was also slightly disappointed that it didn't turn out to be something more. I find some scenes to be too fast and the plot does lack development in some places. One, in particular, was Grace and Nix's relationship, which I thought took quite a sharp bend from being hateful to lovers, I was hoping to see more emotional growth from both parties before they start declaring I love you's.

Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable ride although I wouldn't be rushing to give this book a re-read. I am curious to read the stories of the other brothers, Nate & Drake though!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book generously provided by the author. Thank you for the reviewing opportunity!

Reviewed first on TLBC's Book Blog (http://triciaciak.blogspot.com)

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, but I was delightfully surprised. Gigi is a new author for me but I found her writing beautifully lyrical and this a really beautifully story.

Grace life can be split in two, the before and the after. Grace has taken to life at the convent, her safe haven is The Grotto and her painting, what more could she want?

Ten years later when she is told it’s time to leave, to regain her freedom she’s not sure she is ready. Little does she know just how much freedom she will gain when Phoenix, Nix, Hayes comes knocking.

Nix has experience his own heartache. But when his family undertakes a new mission, saving Grace, he is the first to voice his greatest concern. Totally unwilling to sacrifice the safety of his family, Nix is against going to bring Grace back to their fold.

Little does he know just how upside down this sweet, innocent girl will change his life forever.

I instantly fell in love with Grace. She was sweet and kind and my heart absolutely broke for her. Despite her innocence, Grace is a warrior. She is able to see beyond Nix’s ridged edges to see his heart.

Nix on the other hand fights his attraction to Grace. But as the two are drawn together Nix can’t deny just how special Grace really is.

When the past comes back, threatening to take everything Nix holds dear, there is nothing he won’t do to protect his family, especially Grace.

I found this book easy to sink into and want these amazing chapters to get their happily ever after. I will warn you, the epilogue is a total cliff hanger, so if you are one of those people who can’t stand one, be prepared! Totally worth the read!

This book has just the right amount of sweet and pure innocence to offset the overpowering protectiveness and alpha male. The suspense and angst will also have you wanting to keep reading and see what will happen.

Grace had her life turned upside down and finds herself living in a convent from age 15 to 25 in hiding. With minimal notice that changes. But as sheltered as she has been Grace takes these next challenges like a warrior. Trying to do everything she can to adjust to her new surroundings. Drawn to this man who is supposed to be her protector.

Nix was not excited for this next mission. He is worried for the impact it could have on his family. As strong and stern as he is, he is also empathetic when Grace breaks down from concern. He fights his feeling toward the Angel to the point of miserable. But when he finally realizes just how special Grace is and how good she can be for him, he does a complete 180.

Can they escape the dangers of the past? Will Nix release his anger and pain and find a love worth fighting for?

I liked the characters from the very beginning. But the way the author brings in such strong secondary characters that add a depth to the story. I was laughing one minute to concerned or sad the next. I might be hoping that some of the secondary characters will get their story too.

Truly loved this story. Gigi is a new author to more. She knows how to get the characters to engage well and make you want to love them like family. The story flowed smoothly, and you just want to keep reading to see what happens. This story has action, steamy scenes, and makes you want to be saved yourself by the gorgeous Nix. Grace is as innocent as they come,  and she has this fight and wittiness to her that you can't help but love. I highly recommend this story. I hope there's more to come. This review was originally posted on Garcia Sisters' Book Blog

This book is different from any I have read recently. Phoenix, known as Nix, and Grace have both had their lives shaped by tragedy. Both were orphaned at a young age, Grace’s experience more violent than Nix’s but both traumatic and life changing. Their reactions and outlook on life are so very different due to the lives they led, that tough being such opposites in so many ways, they become the piece the other one needs to fill their soul and make it complete.

After 10 years of hiding in a convent, Grace is timid but has a strong sense of peace from the belief in prayer and God she has learned from Mother Gertrude and the other nuns who raised her since she was 15 years old. It is time for her to leave and follow her own path, and the man who saved her, Mother Gertrude’s brother, helps develop a plan to bring her to him for protection.

Nix’s life was forever changed, for him and his brothers, when a drunk driver killed their parents. Two things “saved” him, his adoptive family, and joining the Corp. After seven years in the Corp the death and destruction became too much to live with day in and day out so he is now working with his brothers to save the world under the radar. When his adoptive father needs him to travel to the convent and get Grace his life will forever be changed.

I love the path these characters take on the road to not only self discovery but the knowledge that they both need to heal their souls and hearts to be able to live the lives they deserve. I will admit normally the actions of our hero would’ve caused me to not read this story. Though he is obviously fighting his attraction to Grace, with her innocence so glaringly obvious, his continued use of another woman to use physically, even while she is in the same place at times, would be too off putting for me to read. But, I admit although it what I like to read, in the context of this story it was telling of a larger issue and somewhat vital to Nix having the breakthrough he needed to open his heart to Grace and heal his soul. The beauty of this love story outweighs those times of discomfort and even the violence that has occurred. I really enjoyed this story as well as the supporting characters we meet, though the final epilogue makes me want to see where this story is going and has me praying it is not the direction it appears!

Okay. So. Ahem.

Where do I begin??? So, basically, this is Christian erotica. But softly.

There. I said it.

Looks around nervously* Not dead? Okay...whew!! So let's get into it!

So this book was part suspenseful thriller and part romance. HEAVY on the romance and damsel-in-distress theme.

Throw in a few Catholic nuns and a dark and dangerous hero....while it isn't quite The Sound of Music, I can almost hear Mother Superior singing in the hills..

Grace, sheltered for her life since an early tragedy with her family by the nuns, ventures forth into the dangerous world...Unbeknownst to her bad guys are waiting in the wings....and her savior is not currently sharing loaves and fishes but is packing military grade heat and has a serious chip on his muscular shoulder. The storyline is rather predictable, but what is not are the contrasts between the gratuitous sex scenes (scornfully depicted) and the LOVEMAKING scenes which are depicted in such beautiful, romantic language....throw in the religious undertones and you get: Christian erotica.

I actually liked the storyline and the author does a good job of building suspense. I think she could have just left out the sex scenes altogether and this would read quite well in the genre of Christian fiction. While not outright religious, you always get the sense that lust is a sin...at least until you get married!

How do you solve a problem like Grace and Nix??????

Copy received courtesy of Inkslinger PR for an honest review.

Usually I don’t have high expectations when it comes to new authors, and when I signed up for the review, I’ve read the blurb and decided to give this story a shot, because it is the kind of story that is right up my alley. It was a nice read, even if it was a bit predictable.

We found out that Grace’s life turns upside down at only 15 years old. She witnessed the murder of her own parents…The motive was her father caught the head of a local gang, a very disturbing man who has done drug dealing and illegal gun selling, and many other stuff. Grace was saved by her father’s friend, and afterwards sent to live in a convent for 10 years. Grace is a religious person, and believes praying to God will help in all matters. After staying 10 years in the convent, she is transferred to “The Fort,” a guarded building, operated by Nix.

Nix is the opposite of Grace. He is not a religious guy, but he believes that he needs to protect everyone he loves, and he doesn’t think about him. He experienced the death of his parents just as Grace, at a very young age. He isn’t happy about Grace being there, because she is putting everyone he loves and cares about in danger.

So, there where a lot of ups and downs throughout the book, but Gigi Aceves left the story with a huge cliffhanger, wright when I thought everything was nice and loveable. Talk about a surprise ending. Now, I just have to wait to see what happens next and I’m very excited. I hope this is the start to a new amazing series.

Ooooh, Oh, I'm Still Alive💕

Grace's parents are murdered by Japanese gangsters in the U.S. when she is fifteen. Hidden by her dad in a tiny saferoom, she is rescued by Joe🔪🔫, and taken to a convent, when she stays under the nuns protection for ten years. The time never seems right for her to rejoin the 🌎world.

Sure enough, when Nix🐺🍆🌋🔪🔫, a former marine, finally is sent by his adopted dad, Joe, to pick her up at the convent, they are followed. Then a woman takes her 📷picture on the ferry ride. What is it Grace💃💋 is supposed to know or have seen?

Grace💃💋 is very religious, quoting Bible verses, praying, and using her rosary beads, but she feels positively sinful every time she's around Nix. She knows nothing about 💘love.....

Nix🐺🍆🌋🔪🔫 is an extremely bad boy, with a bad girl girlfriend, Tanya. He's starting to think maybe Grace💃💋 is the one for him, but he knows he doesn't deserve her.

Who is saving who?

ARC Received from HG
I also got The book with KU.

A ten year stay in a convent is stretching reality. How the opposition could have known Grace💃💋 was leaving on a certain day, ten years later, also stretches credulity. How far does revenge go?
The book is kind of interesting and different but some of the characters seemed superfluous and confusing. Maybe they are from previous 📚books?

I love the romance, I love the drama, and I love the characters of Saving Grace. Nix is a hard alpha male. He’s had a tough life, found a family he will do anything to protect and keeps his heart behind brick walls. Until Pops sends him on a mission to save Grace, then he opens up little by little. The claim he lays on Grace from the very first meeting was obvious, heated, and perfect. Grace lived her life in protection from everything. She has no real idea how the outside world is but does know that some extremely dangerous people are after her and Nix will keep her safe. I love that she immediately trusts Nix. She has a second sense of who she can trust and know immediately that he will do everything possible to keep her safe.

Everything about Saving Grace was amazing. The story was unforgettable, the characters are memorable and unique, and the romance was perfect. I am excited to read the next book in this series and see what else the world holds for Nix and Grace.

Wow great

I don't write many reviews because most of the books don't wow me. But Saving Grace is a really good story. I can't give a review about writers style but I can say the story is absorbing and the details about being Catholic are right on. Even the ending is appropriate considering the premise of mob revenge. Read it you will not be sorry.

I was happy to see a new book by this author. I enjoyed her last series and although this seems to be different it still felt similar in writing style and emotion. I enjoy books that have a bit of everything and this really does cross off most of my desires. It has heartache , angst , innocence , bad boy , violence , suspense , love and of course heat !! It also gives us a view of the other characters and a tease of what will come next. I enjoyed meeting all of Nix's family and look forward to seeing what his brothers have in store for us.

At ages 15 and 17 Grace and Nix suffer very similar loss and it is that loss that gives them an unknown connection. While Grace is swept off to hiding in a convent for 10 years Nix and his brothers are taken in by an amazing couple. It is here that the boys learn how to protect their own and others while trying to mend their hearts from their loss. After 10 years when Grace is thrown into the mix this new family dynamic comes about and it gives the story many aspects to enjoy. Of course it also brings upon the danger and suspense. As innocent and religious as Grace may be she brings a world of unknown with her and this mission to draw out her past could just be the end of many. Who is saving who in this book really ??!!

An excellent read...masterful storyline; fully developed characters that draw you right into the story and won’t let you go. The twists and turns of book also keep you turning the pages. It’s one amazing roller coaster ride of emotions. Grab a few tissues as this one will break your heart but heal the pain as well. It’s an amazing tale—with a long and painful journey to the HEA. So good...(I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and loved it!!) ❤️❤️

Grace Carmichael has been through a lot. Her parents were brutally murdered when she was fifteen years old. She has lived in hiding at a convent for the last ten years. At twenty-five years of age she is an innocent woman who still has a target on her back courtesy of the jerk that killed her parents. Phoenix (Nix) Hayes lost his parents because of a drunk driver ten years ago, Mama Ada and Pops took him and his two brothers into their home and their hearts. Nix does black ops work for the government along with Pops and his two brothers. He is not happy about his latest assignment which is to get Grace and protect her. In doing this it will put his family in danger and that makes him very unhappy. Grab this wonderfully written, beautiful story to find out what happens when you put these two people together. It is an excellent story, with great characters and will have you turning pages to the very end. Definitely recommend this book as a must read.

Saving Grace by Gigi Aceves ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Saving Grace is a short, sweet story. It has a dash of angst and a pinch of suspense mixed with lessons about dealing with loss.

The storyline is different than anything I’ve read previously. It’s sort of a cross between “The Sound of Music” and “Sister Act.” I did feel the plot was a bit predictable and underdeveloped at times though.

Grace was naive and much what you would expect of someone who grew up in a convent. Unfortunately I found her a little too perfect and preachy and had a hard time liking her. Phoenix was tough and angry; he was a bit too hard hearted for me. There was great potential for an “opposites attract” situation, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Their relationship jumped from cold to hot instantly without much evolution.

This was my first book by Gigi Aceves. The blurb said it is a standalone, but the epilogue hints at a series. I’m hoping there is more to Rachel’s story coming.

Different

These two no heartbreak ... Grace has been hiding in a convent for 10 years... Nix is supposed to be her savior but they both end up falling. Her leaving the convent was really drama filled and kinda crazy... Nix drove me nuts running back to Tanya while figuring out the Grace thing this kinda bugged me. Im glad that Grace has a gentle and kind heart. That ending though not sure about it.

5 They Saved Each Other Stars!!

Oh what an amazing love story this is. I wasn't sure what to expect with this book as I've not read Ms. Aceves before. But I'm truly still gasping from all that this story is! Nix and Grace meet under really the most dire of circumstances...he's taking her from the only life she's known for the last ten years to protect her from the dangers that could infiltrate her heaven.

My heart physically hurt for Nix and his brothers Drake and Nick. Their lives were changed one night and they really had to grow up quicker than anyone should. And just when they're not sure how they'll survive, Mama Ada and Papa Joe take these boys in and their lives are forever changed!

Grace is a young woman that survived the unthinkable and ten years later Nix is the man who's going to protect her from those that are trying to hurt her...except she doesn't understand the why's and how's. But what she does understand is she has feelings for Nix that she's never had before and while he's going to keep her from danger no matter what, their hearts are also at stake.

Ms. Aceves has done such a phenomenal job of weaving a story that at times had me literally on the edge of my seat with the action and drama of protecting her and then fanning myself with the heat these two generate. There's quite a story with what happened to Grace's parents and it seems someone is bound and determined to make her pay....for what she's not sure. What she does know is that Nix and his family will do anything they can to keep her safe. Along the way, they fall in love.

This story has a lot of twists and turns and I found myself talking to my kindle when chases were going on and people's lives were on the line. I loved how the story built to a crescendo and when it was all over, I literally had to take a few calming breaths. I also fell in love with how Ada and Joe loved Grace and accepted her into their family no matter what...and let me tell you there's some times during the book that if I were them, I'd have said it wasn't worth it!

This is a great start to a new series and based on what I read in the Epilogue, the next book is going to be equally heart-stopping!

Gigi is not a new author to me for which I am so lucky to say I have had the pleasure of reading the Able Series....loved it btw but don't distract me now with talk of LT lol.

Saving Grace is a sweet, contemporary romance with a bit of angst and a dash of suspense thrown in for good measure. It is beautifully written with great character development allowing that emotional connection to develop throughout the book. I love how Gigi writes, Saving Grace had me captivated from the very first page and I didn't put it down til I was done💞

Nix is a typical hot alpha especially in protector mode and Lord did I adore him so very much right from the very outset. Grace has led a particularly sheltered life on one level through no fault of her own. She lived through what can only be described as a living nightmare but she's so strong despite her past. I loved the butterflies I got whilst reading. Not only did I get a sweet romance but I also got a great plot with brilliant secondary characters.

Nate and Rachel are characters I'm definitely looking forward to reading more but Drake has my interest piqued. I can't wait for the next instalment to catch up with Nix and Grace along the way but more because Oh.My.Gosh the ending!!! Talk about keeping me in suspense!! Gigi I hope you're keeping those words flowing cos I need to know what's going on 💞

This series needs your attention #dontmissout #mustread #oneclick #savinggrace #hotalpha

The lady does it again!!!

The lady does it again!!!
Nix, he can save me any day! The man is strong, sexy, loyal, and driven. He loves what he does for a living and is damn good at it. Then... Grace happened.
Grace has had one sad and painful life. Her life for the last 10 years has been one of faith and of being in hiding. The convent is her safe haven but it is now time to leave and see what the world has to offer, yet it's not that easy.

Nix comes into her life in a way that she wouldn't have expected. Form the beginning things are awkward, she has not been alone with a male and she is uncomfortable, Nix is a quiet man and doesn't know what to make of her.

Their story gets oh so interesting!!!
Suspense, lust, love, fear, uncertainty and loyalty!

Mrs.Aceves has a way with story telling that just grand you. The reader gets a very easy to follow storyline, a book that will make you fall in love with her writing style and her characters. The author delivers and I absolutely love her stories!!!!
