Devon's Hurricane

Days before his 12th birthday, Devon Cullin and his pals embark on a boat trip to their favorite island in the Gulf of Mexico. After arriving they discover that a hurricane has suddenly turned their way. Barely surviving a harrowing boat trip home, they flee to the house and try to close the hurricane shutters as the fierce storm hits them, much stronger than originally forecast. After an upstairs window breaks, then another gets hit by a falling tree, the kids decide to venture outside during the eye to find a board in the shed to cover the lower window and secure the house before the worst half of the strong hurricane hits. Will they make it in time...or will this wicked storm destroy the house...and them right along with it?
