The Gypsy and The Demon

Rate this book
There is a place of lost and forgotten things, where windswept angels of newspaper's old dance upon the breeze of the past. Powerful machines push the memories into the dark of oblivion and the roads are paved with lost keys. It is a place where the messages in bottles wash upon the shore of the River Styx and the old forgotten paths can unerringly lead you home. It is a place of Myth and Legends.
The Story of the Fade continues as…
Ginger the Gypsy and Her Demon Lover receive an unexpected visitor at The Elixir Hotel. Marley Jenkins, the New Necromancer, has come for his Book; a Necronomicon, one of thirteen copies written by The Sorcerer Aleister Crowley. Jack, the Reaper, took it from him when he was just a teen, Marshal Earp imprisoned him in Old Alcatraz and the book was secured in a safe place. Why would the new necromancer believe that Ginger and the Demon have the book? Because they do…hidden within the Elixir Hotel.
When the Nightmares from The Black begin appearing in The Gypsy’s Time Room Hallway and the guests of the Elixir Hotel start dying in horrific ways, Ginger must race against time to meet his demands.
Bring him his book or lose what she holds most dear…her Demon Lover, her hotel and possibly her immortality.
Marley has come with his own special style of hell and those within the Fade are going to pay.

A Wild Journey Not For The Faint Hearted

This is the second book in the series. I would read them in order but, the way they are written you dont really have to. This one takes place more in The Fade then on the human plane. This is the story of The Gypsy and how she same to be where she is. And where she got her lover The Demon. SE Rise is one of the best story tellers I have ever read. I absolutely loved this book.

As we travel into The Fade, we meet Ginger The Gypsy and her Demon lover, how The witch cast a dangerous spell to make Ginger immortal, so she can be with her Demon Lover and meet new characters along the way, a necromancer who is looking for his book, why guests at the Elixir Hotel are dying and this mysterious Imp Girl child appears. This book is one fascinating alternative universe that takes you on a spellbinding ride.

Wow

So book 2 puts us in the fade. We learn about Ginger and her Demon. I loved this book. I figured I would read more about Jack and Brin in book 2, but nope this is about Ginger. She a gypsy and made herself immortal to be with the demon she loved. But it doesn’t quite work out the way she wanted.

As you move into the next part you learn more about The Fade and I honestly thought the author would pick up where he left off with Jack and Bryn. However, I'm learning not to expect anything. Here you will be introduced to Ginger that's a gypsy and she's done everything she can to be with the Demon that she loved.
