It’s A Page Tuner!

Author JC Gardner surely gave us, the readers a thrilling page turner. This book kicks off with high drama and ends brilliantly. You have to keep up because every story piece matters especially when you get to the ending. I love a book that wheels you in to the point where you have figured it out and anticipate the ending act.
It’s urban and it really shows the disparity in dysfunctional parenting. I would definitely tell anyone that this would be a phenomenal Summer read!
Can’t wait to see if there’s a part two!

Such a good read!

It's been a long time since I've read a fiction book. It's been even longer since I've finished a book. This was such an entertaining read. I laughed and (almost) cried. I don't watch much TV, but this book was definitely a show. Happy endings always do it for me! 💜

At 135 pages, this is a super quick, engaging read. Short chapters, dual-POV, fast pacing, and twists you won’t see coming make it hard to put down. You’ll also find diverse characters, a faith-based FMC, disability representation, and a cohesive, dramatic plot. I loved this one!

Great Read

Even in the drama of this book laughter was around the corner. Excellent interpretation from the writer on the thoughts of the characters while they’re trying to figure life out. I’d recommend this book to anyone looking for a different representation of a rags to riches story. A true dramedy!
