The daughter of a town marshal, Linda Lael Miller is a #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of more than 100 historical and contemporary novels, most of which reflect her love of the West. Raised in Northport, Washington, Linda pursued her wanderlust, living in London and Arizona and traveling the world before returning to the state of her birth to settle down on a spacious property outside Spokane.
Linda traces the birth of her writing career to the day when a Northport teacher told her that the stories she was writing were good, that she just might have a future in writing. Later, when she decided to write novels, she endured her share of rejection before she sold Fletcher’s Woman in 1983 to Pocket Books. Since then, Linda has successfully published historicals, contemporaries, paranormals, mysteries and thrillers before coming home, in a literal sense, and concentrating on novels with a Western flavor. For her devotion to her craft, the Romance Writers of America awarded her their prestigious Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
Long a passionate Civil War buff, Linda has studied the era avidly for almost thirty years. She has read literally hundreds of books on the subject, explored numerous battlegrounds and made many visits to her favorite, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she has witnessed re-enactments of the legendary clash between North and South. Linda explores that turbulent time in The Yankee Widow, a May 7, 2019 MIRA Books hardcover, also available in digital and audiobook formats.
Dedicated to helping others, “The First Lady of the West” personally financed fifteen years of her Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women, which she awarded to women 25 years and older who were seeking to improve their lot in life through education. She anticipates that her next charitable endeavors will benefit four-legged critters.

This book was all over the place, the deceased husband coming back was difficult to take, he just seemed to make her grieve more, it just wasn't working for me.

I love all Linda Lael Miller's books. This one was a little different but I truly enjoyed it. Her deceased husband comes back just to reassure her that life goes on and that Harry is the right one for her. It's a good story.

Living after the death of her love, her husband Tyler, Amy Ryan had finally started to function on a normal level. A job she was good at, a routine with the kids she could endure, but after two years she was now dreaming so clearly of Tyler, she would never know why. Tyler was insistent that she meet one of his friends, Harry Griffith, and no matter how Amy tried she had no idea where the thought had come from. Missing the funeral of one of his oldest and best friends, Harry had to stop by and see Tyler’s widow. Never having met her before, the first look he got of her told him exactly how lucky his friend was. Instant connection and as Harry could see himself falling for her if he wasn’t careful, he knew that after his past experiences he had better be extra careful with her.

A quick, easy, basic contemporary romance, the whole ghost/vision story to added to it. As a ghost/vision, Tyler was kind of arrogant and mean at times. The widow, Amy was a little bit of a flake. She had survived two years without any real help and she can make a choices, but put this man in front of her and she is so unsure of herself. Harry is the adventuring, multi-millionaire - so suave but the occasional jerk too. Very basic, older romance.

I usually love Linda Lael Miller's books. I tried with this one, really I did. It just wasn't happening. I was so bored with the main character. It just screamed spoilt little girl. Yea I know we should feel sad for her because she's a widow but really she has everything but that's not enough, even her kids. So she gets a man who also has everything and she's just not sure what to do... Blah, blah, blah! It was just too easy for me. Too much whining and complaining when things could have been so much worse.
Again I love Linda Lael Miller, and this book won't stop me from reading everything else from her.

I purchased a copy of the steamy story Wild About Harry by Linda Lael Miller in Kindle Unlimited and this review was given freely.
At times sad and tense with reduced communication and jealousy, this is an instance attraction romance that ends happily.
The mourning wealthy single mother Amy Ryan is provided glimpses into the future by her dead husband Tyler as he guides her toward accepting his wealthy Australian best friend and business partner Harry Griffith as her next husband and the father of her children.
18+ for many steamy scenes

you can tell it is an earlier book , the plot jumps all over and there are some holes. Amy acts so spoiled in this book it is annoying she pouts and throws temper tantrums to get her way her dead husband must had let her get away with a lot I would say whipped to be nice on here . Harry was no better he also acted like a child as well if you do not behave the way I want u too then I will fill in blank.

I usually really like Linda Lael Miller’s books, but not this one. I dislike books where the male character tells the woman he supposedly loves that she must change professions and even change her entire lifestyle to suit him.

When you skip all the sex scenes like I do, you find there isn't really much left of this book. It skimmed along too lightly for the first half, and the second half was very confusing, as I spent most of it trying to figure out how Amy and Harry managed to get in such a relationship mess.

I'm a big LLM fan, but this book is by far the worst I have read. It was choppy and didn't flow.

interesting

Ms Miller wrote an interesting story. Found it funny and outright hilarious. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to shake Amy for her behaviour and indecisive actions. Of course, repeated sightings of Tyler didn’t help her.

If I could give tis zero stars I would. What a horrible hero. Sex, sex and more sex from the get go. He never seems to want to know her any other way through the whole book! Grrrrrr! Se has kids and a community, but she is supposed to drop everything to be with him and sit around all day while he flits off for work. What a jerk. She should have followed her instincts instead of listening to Ty!

I really liked this book as it was a re-issue of the original that she wrote years ago and came with a bonus book by another author. It is interesting to see how she wrote then and if you read a currant book to see the difference.

Published in 1991, this is a cute HEA I,d not read before by LL Miller. I've enjoyed most of her books, and I've bought and read many of them.

This one was well-written and the characters were delightful.

Esta historia me estaba gustando bastante al principio, pero la terquedad del protagonista desquicia al más cuerdo en serio, tienes la felicidad al alcance de la mano, pero buscas excusas para no disfrutarla completamente y te convierte en tu peor enemigo.

A ghost, a handsome bachelor, and a woman who doesn't know what the heck she's doing. It felt a little over the place and although it could have been good, it was too short to really make us fall in love with the character.

Definitely an early LLM. Plot was all over the place, confusing and frustrating.

Skip this in favor of some of her other books.

Parts of this story were charming, but the ghostly ex gimmick wore thin, and I felt frustrated by the issues that ultimately came between Amy and Harry.

it's easy to read, and have a sweet and funny things at the beginning...
Well, I don't really enjoy the 'climax' turn-around.

But, still it's a nice night reading material....
Lovely.

This is another of Linda Lael Miller's wonderfully romantic novels with just the right amount of sex thrown in. When I got to the end of the book I was so sad to end the fantasy.
