Linda S. Howington is an American best-selling romance author writing under the pseudonym Linda Howard. After 21 years of penning stories for her own enjoyment, she submitted a novel for publication which was very successful. Her first work was published by Silhouette in 1982. She is a charter member of Romance Writers of America and in 2005 Howard was awarded their Career Achievement Award.
Linda Howard lives in Gadsden, Alabama with her husband, Gary F. Howington, and two golden retrievers. She has three grown stepchildren and three grandchildren.
Three short novels, the first by Linda Howard has a protagonist who is a bit of a bully. I wasn't sure I liked him much through most of the book. The second by Linda Lael Miller is about a divorced couple who can't seem to live together but love one another. It brings up a lot of good points about how relationships work and how they don't work. The final one is by Heather Graham Pozzessere. Two famous people, one a mystery writer, the other a model, meet on a small peninsula where few people live. There is a one-hundred-year-old mystery unknown to the two protagonists but the readers are let in on the secret from time to time. I have to say that once the note from Pierre to Eugenia was disclosed to the reader, the solution to the mystery became fairly obvious. There was really only one person who could have found that note!
