A once-prosperous record company is in chaos when founder, Geronimo Stone, becomes ill and dies. Race headlong from tragedy to threat, to surprise solution and glorious celebration while learning to handle the most perplexing business problems of the 21st Century.
This is a business book about leadership wrapped in a novel. I learned about each of the components of this business model that Mr. Stevens explains through a story about a record company in Nashville, TN. Even if you're not interested in the business portion, the story keeps you engaged through to the end. Business concepts aren't dry and boring when they're injected into what could be a real-life situation. I'd read another one of Mr. Stevens business books if he wrote it in the same vein as Geronimo Stone.
