Night Shadow

Rate this book
The sun turned the sky red and gold with the promise of the night coming. It grew darker and became grey, barely any light visible. The moon rose high in the dark sky. The stars remained buried in its darkness. Thunder rolled shaking the ground hard. Lighting flashed almost blinding her. Sending chills throughout her body. When she could see again, a tall, dark hair man had a woman in his embrace. Shiny black orbs that look soulless stared at her. They began to glow blue. His mouth opened wide, revealing a row of long, pointed teeth. Black hair fell from his shoulders. His fingers nails looked capable of tearing a man’s head off with one single swipe. Tears rolled down her cheeks, yet she couldn’t make a sound. Emma had no idea such creature could exit. Tremors shook her body. Fear ran through her veins. His eyes glowed as his mouth went down on the woman’s neck. A drop of blood fell from the corner of his mouth. This was no ordinary man. Her pulse raced faster and the hair on the back of her neck stood on end. She swallowed hard, a sudden surged of electricity was felt thought out the body. Taking a breath his eyes never left hers. Panic rises in her chest. Neither of them moved for what felt like an eternity. Even without help through her camera, she could still see his eyes in the darkness. Without breaking her stare, she shoves the camera in her bag and prepares to run. She trips and stumbles, landing on her hands. When she turns she could see him? He was standing a few cars away. Quickly he moved towards her. Just when she thinks she is going to die, a couple appears in the garage. “Help!” She yells, her voice trembling with fear. She glanced over her shoulders to find the man had vanished into thin air. “What the hell was that?” She thought.
