Looked forward to reading this with a real curiosity about the wealthy. Written in 1982 from a British perspective, Davis organizes those he presents by category of wealth - or how wealth was obtained running from legal, criminal, inspired and inherited. I was disappointed at Davis' clear sympathy with the wealthy irrespective of how the wealth was gained or used. A surprise though should have been expected by what is considered wealth - today's wealthy exceeds anything Davis might have presumed in 1982.

Mindless jibber jabber, this book proves just how lenient publishers have become, it is not an true insight into the rich, instead mere observations that a 5 year old could have made about their lavish lifestyles, don't waste your time.
