I picked this novel, cause I was curious what does LRRP or lurp as it is pronounced mean.

Its a novel based on Franks diary writings, how he decided to be a LRRP volunteer, How he Got used to it, How he survived...

Quite a captivating read, Provided you like the Fauj/Army.

Frank is an awesome writer and seeing how he had the experience behind him to write about such things, the book is that much better.
