Captain Noize

Here comes Captain Noize!

Meet Oliver. He's a kid who gets bullied for being different. He's an autistic rock kid who just wants to get on with things and not be bothered by bigger kids. What they don't know is that he is able to call on a heavy metal superhero - CAPTAIN NOIZE - when the going gets too tough! Alongside the Captain and his friends through the three stories here, Oliver fends off bullies, a giant green elf intent on turning kids into zombies and an army of evil robots overseen by the most villainous politician of them all - the Prime Monster!

Note from the

These three stories began life as comic scripts in support of the NLC Rockin' For the Children festival in Nottingham. It's a festival that raised thousands of pounds of charity, funding iPads for schools with special needs facilities and raising awareness of autism. It also helped to raise awareness for abused kids via another charity. When I heard there wasn't time to finish the comic for the final festival, I adapted the three scripts into short stories so there could still be a Captain Noize release this time out.

This is my first book for younger readers, and all profits I receive from it will go to the charities.
