Run-on sentences galore. Multiple grammar issues on every page. Women are treated as decorative sex objects, and have zero agency. The two main protagonists, brothers who are supposed MIT students (!!), only converse about which “chicks / stalker / bitches” they want to sleep with. And one of them is apparently a genius AI developer? Hmmm.
I’m struggling to come up with anything positive to say about this story, but the bad really outweighs the good.

Wonderful premise!

Very unusual story, but worth reading. So much going on and the ending is unforgettable.

Very unusual story, but worth reading. So much going on and the ending is unforgettable.

Wow! What a fantastic story in a totally different genre for me! This author has a writing style that is captivating with well-defined characters and some unique, like the mythical Jinn (or Djinn). ”Mabus” is a fresh new storyline that has great attention to detail & world-building that actually held my interest. I’m not even sure of the exact genre this is, but maybe Fantasy, Dystopian, Sci-Fi, or even a dark psychological thriller. I highly recommend this to all fans of fiction! Especially those diverse readers with open minds who are searching for something that’s not main-stream, has deeper meanings and is thought-provoking! ... Personally I favor my pleasure reading to be lighter, contemporary fiction with romance and clear-cut HEA’s ;) lol ... There was nothing obvious to me about this book, yet I was hooked! ... Some subjects touch upon various religions & beliefs around the world but is handled in a “what-if” scenario, and the author clearly states in the front that this is a work of fiction. Included are battles between good & evil, right & wrong and making choices, just like we all have in real life. Kudos to Ms. Rencraft for her magical way of weaving words into a page-turning must read!

The beginning of this book really sets the tone for the rest of the story!
David goes down a path with the best intentions, but eventually realizes he is not the one controlling events. This story challenges the ideas we have about AI and mixes religious, science and a dystopic future together in very unique way!
This book grabbed my attention from the first page. I will definitely read more books by this author!

I don’t really understand what happened in this book. I don’t understand who David really is.
