Georgia Valerie Toffolo (born 23 October 1994),[2] also known as Toff, is a British media and television personality. She is best known for appearing on E4 reality television series Made in Chelsea from 2014
As the runaway winner of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2017, Toff surprised us all, not least herself, with her positive, happy-go-lucky attitude and kindness to others, no matter what challenge came her way in the jungle. Toff shares her experiences, some funny, some sad, she shares it all. Toff reveals how she learnt to keep a smile on her face, no matter what life throws at her. This book is a pure delight for any fan of Toff's. This is autobiographical but Toff writes by giving advice, each chapter is on a topic such as friends, confidence and so on. Toff then passes on advice as well as anecdotes from her life, so it is autobiographical in this regard but not in the traditional sense. 'Always Smiling' is a pure joy to read, Toff's trademark positivity flows off the pages, this book made me laugh and I felt pure happiness and positivity throughout. This is not all positive though, Toff shares her sadder moments as well and here the book feels emotional and she is honest about the struggles in her life. This is a great read for any fan of Toff's, we really get to see the real her and I loved getting inside her head and reading about her thoughts on events in her life. Of course, there is lots of space dedicated to Stanley as well, providing lots of entertainment as well.
Admittedly, I was biased when I bought this book as Toff was always my most favourite person on Made In Chelsea. However, I saw Toff outside of that, I follow her social media and the different things she does - this book really is a little slice of her personality!
She sheds light on important matters and offers advice on approaching situations that many young people of our generation struggle with, and I think she really shows us that despite being from vastly different worlds, in some respects we aren’t that different at all and she really breaks the stereotypes that people have stuck on her!
I read this book faster than most books I have read before! Thoroughly enjoyable.
I love Toff, she is a ray of sunshine that brightens up anyone's day. This is reflected heavily through the book with her fun and positive advice.
It took me a bit of time to wrap my head around the structure of the book. As she wrote in topics instead of a timeline of events. I was a little apprehensive on how a 23 year old can write a memoir at such a young age. But I slowly understood it was a help book which made sense. I did enjoy the book it was very uplifting but I wish it was more about her life than just advice. But still it was a good read.
A nice book that includes a few insights into Toff’s lifestyle and helpful tips throughout. The advice that she gives is a little simple, maybe aimed towards more pre-teens or people that just enjoy seeing her on the TV. Overall a nice book to lend you advice in any situation.
I bought this book because I am a fan of Toff. Always Smiling is a wonderful book with lots of helpful life advice tips. We also get to find out a little bit more about Toff aswell. I found this book interesting and funny. One of the best books of all time, honest and amazing, this book is worth celebrating for its unique contents. My favourite chapters were: Friendship, Family and VIPs and My Skin. I've already read the book at least twelve times and I will continue to read it more in the future. Well done Toff!
This book was fantastic! I love Toff and she's so positive. The book is filled with helpful tips throughout. You also get to know Toff a little bit more. My favourite friend from Friendship is The Naughty One (jess) and my favourite family member from Family and VIPs is Granny Denise. My favourite chapter is My Skin. Her dedication 'I dedicate this book to my grandparents. I love you both.' is really lovely.
A fun, uplifting book which offers an insight into the life of Georgia Toff and life advise for people of all ages. I feel that this book is probably mostly aimed for the teenage aged person and into early twenties before settling down to the family life. That being said, I did enjoy reading this and finding out a bit more about Toff.
I got this book as a present for my birthday and was saving it for my holiday. Well it was the perfect ready to take on holiday and I could pick it up at any time and it didn’t require much thinking about. A perfect read on the plane and by the pool.
Oh! I love this book! I love Toff! She is always smiling and listening to her reading her book made my day better, each day until I finished it. I would listen to again just for her positive energy.
I absolutely loved this book! You get such an amazing insight into how Toff grew up, and her tips for how to live life to the fullest, she has so much character.
I bought this book because Toff was my favourite on I'm a Celebrity 2017 (I am now a fan of her). The book is warm, honest, funny and for women of any age who have ever felt they needed to look a certain way or have felt uncomfortable in their own skin. There were lots of tips and good advice. I would have given it five stars if it was a bit more about her. Overall, a lovely, positive book filled with helpful hints but I just wish it was more of an autobiography.
