Nearly 1 in 2 Americans (133 million) has a chronic condition. 96% of them live with an illness that is invisible. I don't know when the war started, but I was thrown into it without my consent. It isn't fair, but I have no choice but to fight. But how can I fight back when I don't have any weapons and the enemy is inside me? People with invisible illnesses are fighting a battle everyday, even if you can't see it. I highly recommend Invisible, Not Imagined if you ever feel alone with mental illness. You're not and these stories shows that. A must read.
