I decided to learn about React instead. However, I am impressed with the author style and attention to details. I checked other books, but nobody seems to care that the web development scene is rapidly changing that whatever features they are explaining, might be obsolete by book publishing time.

Adam Freeman solves this by asking the user to install the specific versions of the tools he is using.

One more thing, learning a new tool can be overwhelming at times. Adam eases this by slowly explaining a feature once introduced with a promise to delve into more details later.

Unlike other books on the subject, Adam goes into finer detail and explains it well. Recommended.

The concepts are valid to Version 7 as well, I think they need to ditch numbers from the title for the next edition.
