It's one of those 'game of wits' crime and mystery novels, the Perfect Crime plot twists are clever enough, the folklore behind the story is interesting and the character settings are memorable enough (with sadistic mobsters, a beautiful Chinese woman with a mysterious past, a detective who is seeking evidence of 'miracles', a bunch of unlikable but colorful members of a very rich family, etc etc), but sadly I don't think it will left any lasting impression in my mind. Perhaps I'd been through the same level of 'game of wits' novels a bit too many.

这种“穷举法”的推理方式哪里让我想到《推理竞技场》，虽然这本是本格——不，我重点是想说，这么多中二的元素是怎么神奇地跟（相对）一本正经的、（竟然）很有逻辑的推理和平共处的……抛开西洋镜感的中华元素不提的话（以及无视名侦探玛丽苏文画风的造型），刻意的夸张感大概会降低不少，不过作者的风格大概就是如此？女主一出场的画风让我差点以为这是个《恐怖宠物店》风格的角色，结果背景介绍就突然九十年代小言了起来……最后船上一段的吟诗作对、肢体暗号和“黑帮戏”看得人有点尴尬……
