A Dark M/M Omegaverse Mpreg Romance

Good Omegas love their masters.
Taavi has never been particularly good.
"Dark desires mean the games I play in the bedroom have to be hidden from prying eyes."

Will

I'm not going to repeat the same mistake twice. The next toy I buy will be perfect. And Taavi really is all that, and more - except he has a smart mouth, and I have a short temper.
He better not start digging around my past, or he might find himself with no future.

"I didn't choose this life. But I never thought I could fall in love with the Alpha who bought my body."

Taavi

I can't help my natural curiosity. Will is intriguing, and I have to uncover all his secrets. With each thread he pulls, he unravels another one of my inhibitions.
But I want to play, too. I want to know his deepest, darkest thoughts... Even though they could mean my demise.
This book features dark romance themes. You have been warned. ;-)

(Wrong book description on Goodreads)
I received this book by the author for an honest opinion.
This story is about Alain ditching university and instead choosing to follow his dreams of dancing but is suddenly being blackmailed by his own sister as he hasnt told his own parents of his change of career. Meeting Lincoln he's surprised at a job offer of modelling for him and this starts there romance. This book was well written with plenty of family drama from parents expecting different things from their chidren. Sweet read with likable characters.

This is a very lovely Alpha/Omega book, with 2 very sweet MCs that give each other courage to fight for what they really want in life.

Lincoln just quit law school to pursue his dream of dancing as a silk robe dancer, living from paycheck to paycheck. He is happy with what he does but is afraid to disappoint his family who has high expectations of him as the good son, so he hides what he does.

Alain at first glance is his total opposite. His family is very well known, hes an alpha, got a looot of money and works for the family company. However, he hates his work there and secretly pursues his dream of photography.
When he seems Lincoln dance he knows he has to have him as his model.
So the two slowly sneak in each others world.

Its a rather fast read but at the same time covers a lot of plot, so if u dont have much time but dont want to miss out on the story, this is the book for you!

*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one elses*

There’s been a mix up with the blurb but Amazon has the correct one up, if anyone wants to check it out.

Alaine’s passion for erotic photography takes him to a club to search for his new muse and model. Omega Lincoln, a rope dancer, dances on the stage and Alaine can’t help but be drawn to the beautiful, gifted omega.

Both men were afraid to be themselves around their family but together they find themselves embracing who they are and giving into the desires that burn between them.

Lincoln and Alaine were really sweet together and I enjoyed their interactions.

I’m not sure who I despised more; Lincoln’s sister or Alaine’s dad? It didn't matter in the end though because I felt like slapping her and kicking him in the jewels lol.

I have mixed feeling about this book the writing good. And the story idea was great, but the events and characters lacked detail that would have developed them and made this book fantastic. For example, there are some photo shoots. These are given just enough detail to understand the idea but not enough to say wow I get that. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. Alain is an Alpha and Lincoln is an Omega and they are the MC’s of this book. I am glad that I read this because I liked the story idea. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

I really wish that the book description here matched the book. I really want to read that book. I enjoyed this one though.

I'm giving this a 3.75.

Overall I enjoyed the book, I thought it was a bit short, and it was jumpy sometimes, so it didn't always flow as smoothly as I would've liked, but in general, it's a good story.

NOT 185 pages as stated on amazon. My reading device isn’t kindle, but it shows about 55 pages and the wording only takes up half of each page.

“I can finally see the dancer the Quarter is buzzing about.”

There are a few parts of this story that I enjoyed and others I really didn’t care for. The biggest thing that upset me with the way Lincoln handled this his sister at the end of the story.
“Unfortunately, my sister, Kim, is blackmailing me.”
I wanted to jump into the story and strangle first the sister, then Lincoln for excepting everything so easily.

I dont quite understand how the title goes with the story. I didn’t find either to be ruined prior or after because how they felt or how their families treated them.

The blurb that goes with it on Amazon is slightly misleading. It makes me think Alain might be a rich jerk, but really, he’s such a sweet guy, plus his “proposal” isn’t indecent since its Alain’s job. Then adding family drama, well it seemed like it was going to be something big and bad, but it was typical and on the mild side. The story is a lot sweeter than the blurb makes is out to be.

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
