..vairākas skaistas pasakas, no kurām dažas pat nezināju. meita ne vienmēr bija mierīga tās klausoties, bet šī klasika ir neatņemama bērnības sastāvdaļa. | 3,5*

Pros: this has very diverse stories ranging from fairytale, folklore, myths and legends from all over the world. I enjoyed the variety of stories from Africa, China, and the Middle East that I have never heard before. It also contains all the western well-known classics such as little red riding hood, the little red hen, thumbalina, princess and the pea, etc.

Everything is arranged by theme which makes content easy to find.

Cute illustrations for every story that my daughter loved.

Cons: some tales were very heavy handed on gruesome details—aka being mauled by lions, burns, a tea pot spout stuck in a child’s leg, etc.

Some of the tales ended so abruptly it is almost as if the editor cut the moral off the end. I few times I found myself “editing” inappropriate words out for the sake of my 4 year old.
