One of my favorite fantasy role-playing games ever. It is filled to the brim with crunch and mechanics that will do nothing but propel your game into a bloody opera of awesome gaming.

Original Burning Wheel was written and published by American who latter in his life met a Pole, Norwegian, Sri Lankan a Brit and bunch of other Americans. Together they devised another game - called Burning Wheel Revised. Few years passed and now they managed to come up with yet another scheme to get your money called Burning Wheel Gold. Proceed with caution.

An interesting book because it gives some emotional and character depth to what would otherwise be a relatively standard FRP design. I have some concerns over the complexity of many of the systems, and don't know how well the result will work in play ... but I'm interesting in trying them out.

A very good system for running a very role-play oriented RPG (As opposed to a combat/tactical oriented game)

If you are looking for a different fantasy ruleset where combat isn't the main focus you can't beat BW.

I really like the ideas in the game. I've played a few times, and enjoyed the way the situations were resolved in ways that supported the story.

I'm looking forward to playing again, sometime.

Great mechanics and concept but probably a bitch to actually run. Still - one of the best RPG rules reads I've had in ages.

I need a test group for this system. Loved the way characters are created.... looks like fun.
