5/5 Because it’s Pierce and I love this man and these fu****g books.
This is principally an introduction, with a lot of painful memories of previous books, and of course new big plot with a lot of little plot around it.
That was wired to read other pov’s than those of Darrow! All the first book i was like: yeah I’m reading an 4 in 1! That was pretty crazy, at the end I had less this point of view, the stories of the different pov began to converge with other!
If I talk briefly about the pov: Darrow: painful with a lot of memories and a lot of politics, I’m heartbroken but yeah I love Darrow chapter :). Lyria: clearly a red rising but after the elements of the trilogy and always painful. Ephraïm: a totally different story but in the same world, this pov have little six of crows mood, and as always painful. Lysander: clearly a sequel with characters that we know very well and, yes, always painful. But yes it’s a book written by Pierce Brown so it’s always painful.
I don’t finish it yet, I need to read the seconde part ( two part, two books in french *clowns* ). I’m afraid what I am going to read in this second part.
