It takes quite a bit of talent to pull off the effective and impactful creation of an entire existence in a paranormal read. Ms. Mantro manages to engage our imaginations by introducing characters, elements, and scenes that come together to form an interesting world. In this world, Jacinda and Jace get to explore a budding attraction while trying to cope with individual obstacles, making for an interesting plot. We are introduced to characters like Silvo and Scarlet, who both enhance and support the story while hinting at a more deep involvement than is divulged.

At a little over 120k words, the story is on the longer side of the spectrum but every part felt necessary. It pays off because it allows for the pacing to flow more naturally. The story does end in a cliffhanger, which I am not a big fan of but I will happily continue on to the next because I’m firmly on the hook.

The truth has been hidden from Jasinda for years. When a new world suddenly starts to reveal itself to her she is in awe that such creatures coexist within this realm. With Jace at her side, she is introduced to a variety of magical beings and amazing things. Until she finds herself in a position to fight and instantly her memories return and with it a deeper pain than she has ever felt before.

This is the first book in what will either be a series or duet. It’s filled with lots of world building and paints a great picture of the supernatural elements that have been hidden to Jasinda until now. She is a strong, independent heroine that has suffered an extreme loss that would break almost anyone. Jace is instantly attracted to her and fights against the urge to mate with her. He’s a protective hero showcasing some jealous tendencies and a lot of possessiveness.

description

This is a lengthy story that was well written. However, I found myself skimming much of the story after a while as we are constantly introduced to new characters as well as magic and I was just ready to get to the meat of the story. Unfortunately, that really doesn’t arrive until the very end and then this author really cuts loose with all kinds of revelations which will be followed up in the next book. Some of these were not tropes that I enjoy reading so I will not be moving on. But it you love a lot of world building and some amazing twists and surprises for a cliffhanger, then I encourage you to try this one.

I AM A FAN!

So, I ended up reading this book. I never imagined this book would be so good! I tend not to read books with dragons and fairies, etc. On occasions a few will slip in though, just like this one did.
Let me first say the cover is beautiful and the story had me stuck to the pages even at work to the very end.
I loved Jace and Jasinda’s storyline and the world that was created pushed me write into it as if I were there enjoying the beautiful secluded world. The ending had me in tears.
I recommend anyone who loves a romantic storyline to read, read, read this book! I am reading it again FYI and hope the next book comes quickly. No pressure!😏

What an amazing story!!! It was really hard to put the book down. It is a great story that kept me on my toes this whole time. The way the characters are introduced, it’s very hard to not make a connection and instantly like them and/or truly hate some of them!!
This book took me on an adventure from the very beginning until the last page. I am already counting the days for book 2. I need to know what happens next with Jasinda and Jace!
Needless to say, I am team Jace!!

When the truth has been hidden from you for years, how do you find the strength to trust love?

Jasinda
I was just a regular girl, living a normal life. My “normal” life was thrown into chaos when I learned that not only was I surrounded by supernatural beings, but the life I’d thought was my own, wasn’t. Everything I thought I knew was a lie. Someone had erased my memories and replaced them with fabrications. Who would do that? And why? What else had been kept hidden from me? With me questioning everything in my life, how was I going to find the strength to trust the man laying claim to my heart?

Jace
My life was anything but normal. I lived in a world of magic and mystery. I’d never wanted anything normal. Until her. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I wanted her like I’d never wanted anyone before. She called not just to me as a man, but also to the beast hidden within. He rose within me to claim her. Having found the missing half of my soul, I’d do whatever it took to make her my mate. Could I convince her to trust me and trust her heart? And if I succeeded, could she survive in my world? With all that’s been kept hidden from her, could she find a way to accept not just me, but my beast and the magic within me?

First, let me start by saying I don’t naturally read anything Paranormal even in the romance genre other than YA books. Mantro did a fantastic job of keeping me on the edge of my seat, and I was so excited I got to read this book. I probably wouldn’t have picked it up if it wasn’t for Foster An Author. Now let’s get to the good part!
Hidden is the first book in the Tri Moons series. In this book, you follow Jasinda and Jace. Jasinda was just a regular girl living a normal life. Or was she? Jace’s life was anything but ordinary. He lived in a world of magic and mystery. I was kept on the edge of my seat from beginning to end wonder what was going to happen next. I love it when the author can make me feel like I’m right going through everything. I had so many characters I loved where there were others I just wanted to punch in the face.
This was my first book by Mantro, and it won’t be my last. I’ve already harassed her on when I’d get me Jace and Jasinda because that ending did not do it for me. Grab this book today because you won’t regret this read!

This book started with action and finished with action. I did not anticipate this ending and I loved it. I am impatiently waiting for the second installation. I love the characters and I love the way Ms. Yantte writes Jasinda's character. Jasinda is oblivious to her power and history at the same time she is not running away from the truth like most heroine. Jasinda embraces the truth levelly and deals with it. I think this makes the story exceptional.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book in the series and it does end with a cliffhanger.
Jasinda was absolutely amazing, I loved how complex her character was. She was fearless and had the courage of steel. Jace was the typical macho guy and I do hope to see a different side of him in the next novel. This story moved really fast and while I enjoyed the pace, I would have loved to see the love grow more between these two, because it was really magical.

This story is a new take on a paranormal, while it still has known creatures in it, there are new and interesting ones that are in this one. I loved the dragons, they were described so beautifully. I enjoyed this book tremendously and I can't wait to read the next novel!

I wasn't sure if I would really enjoy this book when I read the back but the cover made me give it a go and I'm very happy I did. Imagine a world that has all the monsters of myth in it, put a girl that has a secret she doesn't even know and you have a really fun read. I was pulled in and want to read more about this world, I got the feeling book one was just a tease of what is to come.

Hidden is the first book in the Tri Moon series by Yanette Mantro, it's the author's first book and she has done a fantastic job.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher and because of the holidays I had to read the story whenever I could fit in a little time. This is a long book and it held my interest thought the story, it was absolutely amazing. There are all kinds of supernatural, magic, other worlds, secrets, steamy romance, action, betrayals and a whole lot of revelations.

Jasinda world is filled with supernaturals and she doesn't know it. Through hidden I got to discover magical universes with her. Jasinda is a kind, caring, sassy and curious so it was interesting seeing her learn about this world, how open she was to new things and those who are around her. She finds amazement at the small things as well as the big all the while considering others and being an overall good person. She was strong, didn't let anyone bully her and tried to see the way things are from others point of view. Jasinda is very like able.

The story is told from two povs, one is Jasinda and the other is Jace. Jace is a werewolf and new potential love interest. Jace has a strong personality, while he is strong, brave, tough, a leader, he is also kind, fair and sweet. He pairs well with Jasinda, they seem to have a connection and nice flow. The playful manner they have with each other, the flow of the conversation and their overall comfort with each other makes for a really cute couple.

In Hidden we get some information on the other realms, supernaturals and people relationships to each other. We discover past events and also make startling revelations that happen in a very dramatic fashion. But I need more. There are so many questions about what happen in the past, the mysterious villain, whats going to happen next after that cliffhanger at the end. I have questions upon questions that I want answers to. I have no idea how the next book in the series is going to happen but I am excited for it and hopefully I will at least get my number one questions answered.

Yanetta Montro’s Hidden, is her first in her Tri-Moons Series. Jasinda is going along, living (what she thought) was her life as an event planner, when suddenly everything changed. She found out it was all a lie. Her life. Her memories. Her whole world. How do you trust anyone or anything once you find so many lies in your life?

But trust she must, because now someone is after her, and she’s handed over to strangers to keep her safe. But who’re the good guys, and who’re the bad guys?

Strong 4 star read.

If you love PNR then you need to read Tri Moons. Yanette has created such intriguing and heartfelt characters in her beautiful world. Jasinda and Jace will absolutely steal your heart and you will hang on their every word. I can't remember the last time I turned the pages so quickly to find out what would happen next. If you love PNR filled with suspense, danger, deceit, protective alphas, mystery, and unconditional love and sacrifice then this is your book. And don't even get me started on the ending........... In short, you need to read this book. You will not be disappointed.
