Life changes with every breath we take ... In the aftermath of losing her husband, and deep in her grief, Abby struggles with her son Christopher. He has a love of surfing and want to be famous like his idol, Cole Baker. Abby is terrified that something will happen to Christopher on the waves after already losing her brother to the ocean. When Cole learns of their loss, he offers to help Christopher in any way possible - she wasn't expecting to feel a twinge of attraction of this new man. Torn between grief as the loss of her husband, fighting her desire for Cole, and wanting to hold her son back from surfing, Abby finds herself in a tangled web of choices.

I’m a sucker for a second chance romance. For Abby and Cole it was a second chance for both of them. They each had a horrible loss and found each other through one heartbroken little boy. This book was sweet and I love the message of “Oh Well instead of What If”! The only reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars was because it was way too short. It needed more meat!!
This book is about 2nd chances when Abby loses her husband she has a little break down but than she runs into Cole that has things going on in his life but he takes a chance on Abby & her son! This was a emotional book but a sweet book at the same time! Loved it!
I'm a sucker for second chance stories and this was a sweet one! Both Cole and Abby weren't looking for love or ever considered it to be something they would want again, but another letter from Christopher sets their lives in motion! I liked the support of family and friends. I liked the cautious trust that Abby owned up to. I liked that the boys in the story were NOT brats! Great characters with some happy endings!
This was definitely and intense and emotional read for me. The storyline is relatable with questions and fears of what ifs. It makes you want to just grab life and run with it. I found myself crying at parts and smiling while reading others. Definitely a story that you will want and need to read.
Great short read! This was my first time reading this author, and thoroughly enjoyed the writing style! Easy to love characters, great storyline! Would recommend this for a quick read!
