Two couples, an unusual unique setting and lots of kinky fuckery - very promising. I'm excited about the next instalment in this series!!

This an intriguing story with a new twist to corporal punishment. What if you were imprisoned and then given a chance to redeem yourself in the most unconventional ways? Would you go quietly and obey the rules for a chance at freedom or simply take your punishment as is? But, what if it was a choice between submission to the rules or death?
The story has many characters I liked and a few I'd like to see done away with. It holds you making you wonder what will happen next and gives you both agony and triumph.
Warning: it is a bit violent at times and yes there is a cliff-hanger but if you don't mind those then, by all means, dig in! I am anxious to see what comes next for our heroes and heroines. :)

the members of this household are trying the dom/sub way out if prison or death for their free thinking crimes.
lots of cos play, sex play.
exploring what is a game, what is a game, and what is necessary action to thwart wrong doers.
big questions about who the real wrong doers are ans what the remedies are right and fair.
an ongoing drama with cliff hanger.
an exciting read if you like to combine sexy reads with dystopian political suspense/thrillers.

Servants are brought to Mistress Cassia's Manor to see if they can escape the harsh punishments they'd be subjected to outside in the world. I liked the dark elements of the book, as well as the D/s play. I would have liked more introduction of the characters, but they get integrated into the story pretty quickly. Cade had my attention from the start. I don't usually prefer to read Domme books, but this one was a good read, and I'd love to find out what happens next, as this ends with a cliffhanger.

This is a very intense read that follows the lives of Dom/Sub lives of a household. There is cos play and believe me there is nothing soft or sweet about this book. Very dark and if that is your thing then this book is for you

She rules with an iron fist and she has so many people she needs to keep in control as she has rules. If they are broken they find out what will happen if they do not obey straight away. He is her enforcer and he has a hard heart but will anyone be able to break through? See how it will all go

I loved this book start to finish. It was dark, and extremely hot. Sometimes things are not always what they seem. This is an erotic romance with some darker edges, written well, thought out and let me just say #CADEISMINE

The characters in this book go through the manor rather than face punishment for their actions. The story is quick. The plot isn't too well developed though and there isn't a great deal of character development. However it was an interesting read.

This book is about a dark erotic dom/sub romance storyline that is interesting. The characters are intriguing, engaging and well developed. I liked reading this book.
