I absolutely loved the completion to Lucy and Cash's story! The two of them have been through so much, starting with book one, Bounty. The ending of that one was such a shocker and then you dive right into Captured, broken hearted and all torn up only to find out that things weren't quite what they seemed at the at the end of Bounty! Argos and Lucy made a decision, maybe not the best one, but one they thought was right at the time, and it backfires on them! Cash is devastated by Lucy's supposed death in Bounty and it's extremely difficult for him to move past the betrayal of the woman he loves and the man he calls his best friend. There is a new villain in Captured and one that will stop at nothing to get Lucy in his grasp! More secrets are revealed and lots more action! Love, love, love this series!

I can’t really review this book to it’s full existent because after how the last book ended, it could spoil so much but I will say it rocked. Full of action and revenge, we see how far some people will go to do what they know has to be done. My heart broke a few times while reading this book. The author envoked a lot emotions from me. I laughed, I had tears, my heart rate sky rocketed, and I was angry. Hades and Argos are at it again and seeing them stand up for victims (in a way) makes you realize how amazing bad boys can really be. If you loved the first book; (or even hated how that one ended) then read Captured. It will open your heart and make you understand. 5 stars #2OCCJD

KL Humphrey’s and Pavan Kaur have a fantastic series you all need to read. Captured the second book in the Hitman Series, wow about sums up the book it carries on from Bounty following Hades, Argos and Lucy. I couldn’t put this book down once I started it, it was so good. The story is so well written, the characters are amazing and the chemistry between Hades and Lucy is hot. The book answers all the things we want answered in Bounty but leaves the possibility of more books to come in the series. So worth more than 5 Stars, Everyone need to read this series.

The hardest love brings the deadliest revenge 5 Stars

Captured is book two, and followed on straight after the cliff-hanger ending of Bounty. Luckily for everyone, this duet was released together, so I got into it straight away. It is imperative that you’ve read the start of this duet in Bounty first, otherwise you’ve missed the whole point of the plot, and haven’t developed the all-important invested relationship with our hitman team of Hades and his behind-the-scenes man, Argos.

I don’t want to belabour the plot because I don’t want to be giving away spoilers, but holy hell, everything about our heroes in this book was raw. Authors K.L. Humphreys and Ruby Wolff wrote the levels of stress, and the angry and hurt emotions that our guys felt in devastating honesty, and their feelings literally emanated off the book. Hades is devastated and there is nothing left for him but a white-hot anger and the deadliest revenge. He cut a swathe of violence and destruction through those sick and depraved elite who wielded power and money like utensils to do what they like to whoever they like, while Argos had his back in the data world.

This book was more difficult for me to read. Remember that this is a dark romantic-suspense, and the subject matter might be difficult for some readers. Read the warnings before diving in and take heed, because there’s no excuse to be bleating about the rawness and the level of violence in this book that packed one hell of a punch and left me reeling long after I finished. Check the listing on Goodreads. Hades is a hitman who takes out the trash, and the people he is dealing with are the absolute scourge of society, and while I don’t believe their violent crimes are over exaggerated, they most certainly are graphic and an endemic part of the story. Don’t expect a fairy tale romance, because this isn’t it.

Humphreys and Wolff hit the ground running with this second book, and didn’t drop the ball once. It's a worthy, albeit hard to read at times follow up to Bounty, and deserves every one of its 5 Stars 🖤

Captured by K. L. Humphreys and Pavan Kaur is Book 2 in the Hitman Series. It’s a romance t follows directly after book 1, Bounty, therefore shouldn’t be read as a standalone.

Just like book 1, Captured is fast paced and doesn’t let up on the dialogue or the attitude. I found it an interesting read however, At times I was also frustrated with the main characters that overshadowed my enjoyment of the book a little.

It definitely takes you on a journey and holds nothing back, with some twists thrown in that you don’t see coming. I’d like to say there were equally good ‘romance’ moments but this one is more heavily on the suspense and conspiracy side of things.

This is the 2nd part and concluding part of this duet and Cash and Lucy’s story continues. Cash is left devastated by Lucy’s death and is on a mission of vengeance, but all is not what it seems. This is a well written flawless story which is an emotional roller coaster, and with intense chemistry, heartbreak, betrayal, revenge, twists, secrets, action, and love. I was completely enthralled throughout this riveting and addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented duo, whose work I recommend.

Such a good second book

Love Hades, Argos, & Lucy! This was a great story from the start hitman eyes in the sky, love for a hard man that was a little jaded an innocent strong heroine who gets herself into more than she bargains for. Can they all make it out alive?

Captured is the explosive conclusion to Lucy & Cash's story, and man I'll never be the same. That being said, YOU HAVE TO READ Bounty (Book 1) FIRST PERIOD THE END GOODBYE. Cash is leveled up ruthless as he's on a quest for vengeance & will not hesitate to burn everything (& everyone) in his path. I will say this again (I said it in the Bounty review as well) that there are major triggers which even gave me pause & it takes a lot to do that to my dark & twisty self so please take this warning seriously. It felt like everything was bigger (which I didn't think could happen after the first book), so I had to remind myself to breathe at times because I was holding my breath from everything going on. The twists are so far out of left field that shock took over so no loud f-bombs dropping. However, I was on the edge of my seat again (to be honest I read both of these books one after another so I was still on edge of my seat from Bounty) but my heart rate seemed to be a lot higher from the action if possible. I hope this dream team keeps writing together because the Hitman Duet is simply EPIC in my opinion! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL THE DARK & TWISTY OUT THERE!

It's revenge time. Cash is devastated at the loss of Lucy. Please, don't start with this book. Book 1 must be read to understand this book. Readers are in for a wicked ride that they won't soon forget with this duet. Both books deserve more than 5 stars.

Captured continues on from bounty, you have to read book 1 first.

Filled with revenge for what happened cash is on the warpath and woe betide anyone who gets in his way.

Another actioned packed story that well and truly had me on the edge of my seat, I didnt think that it could beat book 1 but my god it did, I couldn't put it down.

A brilliant duet, Bravo ladies, that was a wild rollercoaster ride which made me feel every emotion.
