Dr. Victor Frankenstein dreamt of achieving great things through science even create life. But it all went horribly wrong and he turned away from the monster he had created. Now his creation is filled with hatred and roaming the countryside. The horrific tale is captured in this striking graphic novel adaptation.
I have always enjoyed the story Frankenstein in its many versions, but have found that many of my students tend to dislike it, at least in its original form. I think this shorter, graphic version may help to give them a new opinion.
Not a bad retelling of the story. Probably good for 10-12 year olds. It was interesting that the cover mimics the Universal Monster style but the story was faithful to Shelly's novel. It's a quick read and simple. The drawings are dark colored and set the mood. I felt some of the drawings were excellent with creating emotions.
A bibliotecária insistiu e se empenhou tanto na procura dessa HQ, mesmo depois de eu dizer a ela que não precisava, que eu trouxe ele pra casa e li, apesar de não querer saber da história previamente.
This book was a very interesting book. I have been recommended these kinds of books by a lot if people. I has not been a book i have ever read before and it was a okay book. It was kinda random but a okay book. All together i kinda liked it and would recommend it for people that like comics.
