I mean, it's too short to say much about it, to be honest. But, yes, it does make me curious for the next one, so I guess I'll be reading that. There seems to be some pretty interesting ideas and world-building ahead, if nothing else.

So yeah. Enough to pique my interest, but too short to really say much else.

A short well written prequel that has stirred my interest in the next book. Which, since this was free, is obviously what it was supposed to do.

It wasn't badly written, but one of the main characters was an elf, which automatically renders it ineligible for more than two stars on my bookshelf. Feel free to not believe me, though. Veinglory is otherwise an entertaining author.

We meet Peter who is on his way to England where fate bring him together with Veleur who is an elf. Its short story but even so worth reading.
