It was all so sudden, her childhood friend leaving Glaiysha with his father, and her grandmother passing away. Sara thought she'd find herself alone on the streets until King Wes found her and took her in to live at the castle.

Years later Sara became the king's second knight, though she found herself on a constant watch by other knights under the orders of, she could only assume, First Knight Julian. The knights especially kept close whenever she went around asking others for information on where her childhood friend, Ambrose may have gone, or even why he had to leave so suddenly.

King Wes calls on Sara and Julian and informs them of the sudden appearance of some unwelcomed visitors who were spotted traveling in town, He sends them both out with a few other knights to go and capture them. Sara finds herself bothered by the king's and Julian's not wanting to tell her who, or what the visitors could have done to get themselves to be imprisoned.

James traveled far to Glaiysha in search of the one who was tied to the key to a long-time coming prophecy. During the night in Glaiysha, the King's knights find and capture him and his men, helping James find the one who held what he's come for was not only a woman who was good with a throwing knife but was also his enemy's second knight. After Finding her to have what he's come for. He breaks himself and his men out of the King's prison and takes Sara captive.

After being taken captive by the prisoners, Sara finds herself struggling to get free of them, more less keep herself from growing to trust their leader, more than she had trusted King Wes. It's when she discovers just what they are that makes her ask who's better to trust. A secretive king who has held her just as captive under his knight's watchful eyes, or a pirate captain, who wants to start a long-coming prophecy?

1 star for having courage to write a book

It takes courage to write a story. But then you need to have the courage to have your story edited. This book needs even a first-time editor to edit this book. This story could have promise, but it truly needs to have a good hard look taken of it.

Oh my goodness they need a proof reader

I only got through the first 4 chapters and had to quit. Horrible gramer and sentence structure. I keep loosing the almost story line due to the repetitive child like description of what was going on. Could have a good story idea but terribly poor writing.
