Solo lei las escenas extras de esta saga, pero como no estan añadidas en Goodreads, dejo mi opinion aqui.
Me encanto leer estas escenas extras.
Ver a Roman y Mikhail como padres fue muy gracioso y adorable aunque suene extraño viniendo de quien son estos hombres y a lo que se dedican.
La escena de Igor me hizo reir a carcajadas, fue caotica.
Y la ultima escena de Kurt fue increible, solo me hizo amar aun mas a Milene y Salvatore.

i randomly saw neva altaj come on booktok a few weeks ago and ever since has had me in a chokehold. all of these books make you fall in love with both characters, good or bad, and you go along with their story line with so much passion.
also someone posted a bad review for “plagiarism” but respectfully, inspiration and plagiarism are completely different. the scenes are similar, but the wording is completely different besides for filler words. bffr

Even though this isn't a full on series and each book could be read as a standalone, I'm going to read these in order, to get the most out of it. First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVE when authors offer a bigger combined book in place of the individual smaller sized books. It's a money saver and I just love the thicker books, and especially how the accomplishment of reading each book helps motivate you more to finish the whole thing! Then though comes the question... do I count this as 1 book or 3 books towards my yearly reading goal... that is yet to be determined! LOL
Book One; Painted Scars; Roman & Nina
I've just finished book one and I'm loving Neva's writing style so far! I actually love that we get both MC's point of view in the same chapter instead of alternating chapters like most authors do. I find this adds so much more depth to the story and so much more feeling as we get to experience both sides pretty much at all times. I also love that she includes some definitions and information about the Russian words used in the book. Honestly it put me off a little at first, thinking there was no way I was going to remember them and would have to keep flipping back and forth to figure them out. I was surprised to find that I didn't have to flip all that much and I found myself actually enjoying learning these words and using them throughout the book.
I adored Roman's and Nina's relationship and how it developed. The banter between them had me giggling and kicking my feet like a little girl. This isn't the spiciest book I've read but the little bit of spice in it is pretty good, and honestly the story alone is worth the read even without it so I feel like the spice is an added bonus in this case. I also loved how Roman wasn't a perfect god like specimen like in most romance books, he is broken and has his insecurities and that just made him feel so much more real, I really enjoyed that aspect of the book.
Now that I've finished the first book I'm excited to see that this series is kinda of cameo style. I don't know how else to explain it but basically we've already been introduced to the male starring in book 2, and even the one starring in book 3. We might already know the names of the next few books MC's as well but I'm not sure because I don't have the second collection book so I will have to see. I'm curious to see if Roman pops up in book 2, I'm assuming he will, since he's the Pakhan and all, unless the next story timeline is before he takes over. Guess I'll be jumping into book 2 because I can't wait to get into book 3, knowing who that book is about. I can't help myself, I'm a sucker for the deeply unhinged; like Diesel, if you know you know ;)
Book Two; Broken Whispers; Mikhail & Bianca
I thought I would slow down at this one because I was so excited to reach book 3, but this one was SO good too! I'm easily a big fan of Neva's writing, her character building skills and sassy romances. I'm obsessed! This book was equally as good as the first, maybe even better. I feel like I was hooked right from the first few chapters again, completely invested in Mikhail and Bianca's relationship and how it would evolve. I might like them more as a couple than Nina and Roman. I was happy to see that the previous characters are also included in the following books, so it's definitely worth it to read these books in order because you have a better idea of the timeline, what's happened before/after and who everyone is.
The limitations from Bianca added SO much to the story, I adored how fierce and loving she is, how much she was able to express herself. And Mikhail was amazing too, It's so nice having "flawed" characters that are so much more relatable, it really makes the story that much better. I kind of got ahead of myself though... I meant to come back and write book 2's review right after reading it buuuut I was so excited to get to Sergei's story that I dove straight into book 3. I blame the ending of book 2! It's all book 2's fault! lol So unfortunately my memory isn't the greatest and I'm probably not touching on as many points as I had wanted to but either way, overall; very good book, very good series and very good author. I highly, highly recommend.
Book Three; Hidden Truths; Sergei & Angelina
Alriiighhht, the moment we've all been waiting for! Honestly as soon as I met Surgei in Painted Scars I was already hoping he would be featured in a book, and upon checking the back cover, I was super pleased to see that we was. The excitement only grew from there as we get little snippets of Surgei and who he is throughout the first two books. I LOVE me an unhinged morally grey MMC, with 'touch her and die' mentality. Sergei definitely gave me some milder Diesel vibes-Den of Vipers, check it out and thank me later ;) and I knew I was going to just absolutely adore his character. And let me tell you, he did NOT disappoint!
Surgei and Angelina are easily my favorite couple thus far. I use those little sticky note tag things to flag my favorite parts in my books, and book 3 in this collection is LOADED with them! There was so many amazing parts, and theirs was a bit more of a slow burn compared the the other two in my opinion so I really enjoyed how their relationship slowly evolved. It's so hard to write these and not give spoilers so I'm not going to say too much more but I'm definitely going to be adding the next collection book to my TBR as soon as I can, and probably the next one after that assuming the second collection is even close to as good as the first. Xx

New Author for me. I CAN say that Miss Altaj has my FULL attention. What started in Painted Scars had me shaking and grinding my teeth while reading but that abated when I started Broken Whispers, which broke my heart, but you mended it and then totally destroyed me by handing me Hidden TRUTHS. I so totally hope you are PROUD of yourself Miss Altaj. I am honored by your humility and your gracious love for your characters and the visions you portray through your words creating your world. I am glad that you write about some severely damaged heroes. Thank you. I highly recommend this author. Don't miss this.

Perfectly Imperfect Collection Books 1-3 Is Perfection
After reading this series in Kindle Unlimited, I bought the collections. Wonderful writing and I love the imperfect heroes and heroines,. Savoring the stories the second time around. Book 1, Nina and Roman, remain my favorite couple because they introduced me to this outstanding series.

perfect trio of books
Loved this trio of stories. I laughed so hard with the first female character, Nina - she is a breath of fresh air. Funny, smart witted, can talk herself out of most situations. The second female character is also a strong presence and then we have Angelina. Easy read and I’m so glad I read them one after the other.

I couldnt fall in love with this one. I really look for a protective alpha male, and due to his own limitations i just dont see him as that in the book, more of someone who barked orders. The spice in this fell so flat I actually went back and reread to make sure i didnt skip something.
