Rachel Connell grew up in the woods of central Minnesota working and living on her family's cattle ranch. Rachel started writing fiction in the 7th grade and published her first book after she married in 2011. Rachel Connell has several articles published in different agricultural magazines, and mentors a handful of young aspiring local writers. She graduated with an A.A.S in Natural resources, and a B.A in Wildlife biology of which she uses many eco-friendly/land stewardship practices on her ranch. Rachel is married to an amazing Army Veteran who is the love of her life and utter soul mate; has 3 wonderful children of whom she and her husband homeschool, and she loves to work with her horses. She is an avid outdoorswoman who loves to share her love for nature with her family during camping trips, road trips, swimming adventures, and hunting.
