Assignment: Marriage is the 19th stand-alone romance novel by American author, Jackie Merritt. Tuck Hannigan is offered a cushy assignment: take Nicole Currie away from Las Vegas and hide out in a luxurious lakeside cabin until the DA is ready for her to testify against a pair of dangerous criminals. But there is a hitch or two: Nicole is vulnerable and beautiful, and Tuck finds himself attracted; and there is a leak in the department, so keeping Nicole safe is much more of a challenge than expected. Nicole is annoyed to be plucked out of her quite satisfactory life and stuck in the company of this cranky cop, but then he smiles, and she’s lost. And when he saves her life, she is determined to make him part of it. Sweet sexy romance that is typical of Jackie Merritt’s style.
