A very short read. And yet in typical LL fashion, it manages to repeat itself a lot. Still I enjoyed it quite a bit. Anna and Blake fell in love when she was 16. He waited till she was 18 and they had a hot and heavy night before he had to ship out on a top secret mission. Of course the mission goes sideways and he's gravely injured. Plus the baddy is out there and a threat to Anna. So he plays dead. Not knowing the his night with Anna had consequences. After finally killing the badguy, 4 years later he returns as his 'brother Devon'. He's scarred and older but he still reminds Anna of Blake. She gets confused. There are other things going on, causing trouble. It all comes to a head after a few days and ends quickly... but satisfyingly in a formulaic way.

** Now there is apparently a dispute about whether this is actually one of Lora Leigh's novellas because she doesn't list it with her works. However, I have heard whispers from folks who remember downloading this from her website back in 2004. It has never been published which may explain why it is difficult to trace.
Me gusta como escribe esta autora y sigo en la espera del siguiente libro de la saga breeds, sin embargo a esta historia le faltaron mas paginas y mas sazon para estar a la altura de los libros que estoy acostumbrada a leer de ella.
Great short read that covers a lot of ground. As this was an early work of hers I would love Ms Leigh to redo this and extend it to a full novel. Owned for ages and reviewed before but review is missing.
