I’ve waited a year to see her again. Last Christmas at the Cookie Swap Fundraiser we ended up knocking boots in the prize room. Best damn day of my life.
When the opportunity arose, I was quick to volunteer to work with her. I’m not a baker. But my granddad is. So is her grams. The only problem is, our grandparents have a lifetime rivalry going on. And they’ve put me and her smack dab in the middle. Warring. Fighting. Food fights out of control. We decide to band together to keep them from killing each other. What I hadn’t expected was to fall for her. Since I was left at the altar, I’ve been a one-man show. But the more time we spend together, the more I want her. Now, I have to figure out a way to make her mine.

Cole and Maggie's story starts Sith a one night stand a gear ago wise she was home helping her gran backing for the holiday fundraiser and Cole was there to get his cookie gift for his contribution. They both couldn't help thinking about the other and by next Christmas they were both on the cookie making committee. Their grandparents were cute and helps their relationship along with their feud.
I really enjoyed this story. It was a quick read but had plenty of character development and world building. It was sweet and steamy. I always enjoy a story where they're both pretty much into each other from the start. Of course there are the obligatory reasons it's only going to be 'a fling' and a turn of events to really test how they feel. This book was well written but there were some parts that were a bit too cheesy for me. The author called her breasts 'round mountains.' There were a few other turns of phrase that just were a little weirdly worded. If you're looking for a quick, steamy holiday read I'd recommend this one. It's got a lovely HEA.
Great book! Can’t go wrong with a hunky cowboy! Maggie is a baker and trying to make a name for herself in the city and worldwide. She comes home to help with the Christmas fundraiser for the week. Cole, the hunky cowboy, comes to the fundraiser to help keep his granddad in check. Well granddad and Maggie’s grandmother have different ideas, like fighting and making messes and yelling at each other.
